Just attended funeral service of 89-y/o Dr. Kevin Bove, Cincy Children's Hospital pathologist, at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic church. During the rituals & music, I became emotional thinking of how I'll never again attend such in my hometown church. Never forgotten, First UCC! 💔💞

Well, this is a first....after 30 yrs.....of not heading to Rising Sun, IN for church service in my (first) hometown. 💞
But, will attend "another" First UCC at 10:15 in the community up the road in College Hill. 🥰

I took 30 mins this morning & looked at all the red Pilgrim Hymnals (1963) for any dedicated to a former member. I think I found a couple; but if anyone would like me to send/mail them "theirs" (attached), let me know. (This is Nada Huron on behalf of our beloved church). 💓

Thank you to the Ohio County Community Foundation for the sustaining grant supporting our Little Free Pantry to address food insecurity in our community. The Pantry provides a safety net for those who have trouble meeting their everyday food and personal needs. It is small, but it is available 24/7 and anyone can access it at any time. Donations are always welcome.
