Also today we are down in middle Tennessee visiting with Pastor Lee and his family that you loved so much. It’s almost like… this visit is a special birthday gift to you…

Sis Joyce you would be proud of the church and all your family!!! Them grandkids are running that church strong along with me and Lisa… Yes ma’am, we have been pastoring 16 yrs this last Jan 26 and them great-grandbabies are running throughout the church too… lol…

And last but not least…. Yes ma’am, Sis Leann has truly done a great job filling your secretary shoes that no one will ever be able to fill…

Bro. Earl, dad to me, loved everyone from young to old at Central Community Church. I always knew when 5th Sunday was coming up because dad would be going through his music books and singing several times the week before to the right song for that Sunday. He would come home and tell me stories of how certain members and especially the youth touched his soul with their singing. When he saw needed Kleenex, he made sure there was enough for everyone. The he realized some got cold, so he got enough throw blankets for each pew to have one. He loved taking care of his people. Trust me I know because one of the last conversations we had was he was ready to see mom but didn’t want to leave me because he always wanted to take care of me. I have read several Facebook replies and appreciate every single comment. The most common was about dad’s hugs. I, personally, enjoyed his hugs and will miss receiving them several times a day. We never missed a moment to let each other know we were loved. Please know he loved each and every one of you. If you ever miss one of his hugs, take one of those throw blankets and wrap around yourself for moment. He left those to show his love.

Truly going to miss this wonderful Godly man whom went home to be with the Lord this morning…. What a blessing he was to our church… what an example he was to us all…

He said this was his favorite pic of me and him… it was hard to go to church today knowing he wouldn’t be there… we will miss all his hugs, songs, memories of moments of his family stories, and the list will go on with each one of us.

Last year he went with us to the nursing homes to pass out blankets to the residence… came dressed like Santa Claus… he enjoyed it so much… and we enjoyed it so much too that he played Santa for the families at church also…

I remember we told him after Christmas that we had something better than a Santa Claus… that we had a Santa Earl… he teared up with a great big smile. I’m tearing up now Bro Earl… we truly are going to miss you…

You are such a Godly man and the love you had for your own family and towards your church family will be forever felt and remembered… RIP… Bro Earl, you ran your race well…

What a blessing VBS was today… had 26 kids… BIG Thank You to all the church volunteers & for the families that brought your kids!!! Also huge congratulations to Sis Chelsea for doing her 1st VBS… The whole thing was just wonderful!!!
