Countdown: one week until the Journey of Compassion to Zimbabwe starts!

In just one week, 16 volunteers from across the US and Canada will travel to Zimbabwe for a 12-day Journey of Compassion.

The team will minister in a prison, provide safe water to over 1,500 people, and encourage families of children with special needs, transforming lives and empowering communities along the way.

Gift of Freedom!

Angela was just thirteen when a woman promised her work as a housekeeper. Eager to help support her four younger siblings, she said yes. But that promise was a lie.

For months, Angela was held under the control of traffickers who planned to take her across the border, far from her family and everything she knew.

Then, one afternoon, while Angela was being transported, our team in Malawi recognized the signs of trafficking. They immediately alerted the authorities and pursued the traffickers on their motorbikes. By God’s grace, they reached Angela just in time.

Angela was brought to our safe house, where she received care and was eventually joyfully reunited with her family.

But there are still children like Angela waiting to be rescued.

Every day, a dedicated team of twenty trained men and women works in Malawi’s border towns to identify and stop traffickers before more children fall victim to trafficking.

Some stories stay with you long after the Journey is over. 💛

This is one of those stories.

Looking back on a past Journey of Compassion in the Katanga community of Kampala, Uganda - a woman named Gloria came forward carrying her baby in her arms. Years earlier, the Impact Nations team had prayed with her, and now she had returned—not asking for anything, but carrying a testimony of what that moment had come to mean in her life.

There was something deeply moving about seeing her again, holding her child, and sharing the joy of a story that had continued long after the team had gone home. It was a beautiful reminder that we may only witness one chapter, but God is still writing the rest of the story. 🙏🏽👶🏽

Gift of Hope!

Kirta married young, hoping for a peaceful home. Instead, her husband’s drinking turned violent, and one stormy night he threw her and her young son out with nothing. She sat under a tree until morning, holding him as he whispered, “”Ma, I’m hungry,”” and she promised herself she would not give up. Days later, she found a sewing center for women seeking a new beginning and waited outside all night for it to open. Today, Kirta runs her own tailoring shop, her son is in school, and they share meals each night in peace.

What began as a God dream written down at a dining room table has grown into a movement of thousands across many nations, with children rescued and broken families fed and restored. This Thanksgiving, we turn our hearts to the Father and say thank you Lord, for Your grace, mercy, and favor.

🇵🇭 Meet our partners in Phillipines.

On Oct 26, 2026 at 7pm MDT, join us on Zoom for a special Meet the Partner event.

You’ll hear directly from local leaders, Ronnalyn and her team, our partners in the Philippines, about the ministry already taking place, their vision for the future, and the ways we’re partnering together on a massive clean water initiative in Sitio Maycorot and Naga - executing a strategic filter distribution designed to fully equip two entire communities. This vital project will serve every single household in the communities (approximately 300 households) and bring life-saving clean water to between 1,500 and 2,200 people.

This is more than an update. It’s a chance to connect with our global family, ask questions, and see how God is at work through trusted local leaders.
