Madison began leading the Worship Team at Pear Orchard in March of 2020. Before then, he played mandolin on the Worship Team for a few years.
Madison is blessed with a team of eighteen worship team volunteers who use their musical gifts to lead congregational singing with him on Sundays. In addition to leading on Sundays, Madison schedules teams for Sundays, plans music for some Sunday services and worship team offertories, and curates the worship team music catalogue.
Madison grew up in Brookhaven, Mississippi, and for his day job he is an attorney handling litigation and appeals. He and his wife, Liz, met at Wheaton College and have been married for 18 years. They began attending Pear Orchard in 2011 after Madison graduated from law school at Ole Miss. They have three boys, ages 14, 11, and 6.
Madison enjoys all things music, as well as reading, spending time outside with his family, hunting, and fishing. Fun fact: Madison once met the King and Queen of Spain! An unusual job Madison had was pinning beetles in the entomology lab at Ole Miss while he was attending law school.
Madison’s favorite part of leading the Worship Team is getting to serve alongside dear friends with a shared goal of helping the word of Christ to dwell richly among the saints at Pear Orchard through music.
