The countdown to Fall Festival is on, and we are so excited!

Join us this Sunday, October 25, from 4–7pm for an evening full of fun for the whole family. We’ll have food trucks, games, and lots of candy!

Invite your friends, bring the kids, and come ready to enjoy a great evening with our church family and community.

We can’t wait to see you there!

What a meaningful Sunday together as we continued our 1 Timothy: Blueprints series!

From 1 Timothy 3:14–4:16, we were reminded that the mystery of godliness is not a what — it’s a who. Jesus is the foundation of our faith, and because we belong to Him, we’re called to live lives shaped by His truth.

We were challenged to train ourselves in godliness, stay rooted in God’s Word, gather faithfully as His church, and live as examples of Christ in our everyday lives.

The world around us needs to hear and see the hope of Jesus. May we be a church family that not only knows the truth, but faithfully lives it out and proclaims Christ wherever He has placed us.

Our Fall Festival is coming up, church family!

Let’s work together to make it a great night for our community! Here are three ways you can help:

- Bring candy! We still need candy to help make the night extra sweet for all the kids.

- Sign up to volunteer! It takes all of us working together to welcome our neighbors and serve well.

- Invite your friends! Text a friend, invite a neighbor, and bring someone along to enjoy the fun.

We’re excited for an opportunity to connect with our community, love our neighbors, and share the hope of Jesus. Thanks for being a church family that shows up and serves together!

In last Sunday’s message from 1 Timothy 3:8–13, Guy reminded us that godly service requires godly character. Our faith should shape how we live, how we lead, and how we serve — not just on Sundays, but in the everyday moments of life.

Jesus showed us what true servant leadership looks like. As we follow Him, may we live with integrity, lead with faithfulness, and serve with confidence.

What a meaningful Sunday together at Colonial Heights!

We celebrated Family Commissioning, praying for and encouraging parents to raise their children to know the Lord, serve Him, and be ready to go wherever He sends them. Our desire is to help families begin the parenting journey with an eternal perspective, keeping the hope of Jesus at the center.

We also kicked off this year’s Operation Christmas Child, with a goal of filling 777 boxes and sharing the hope of Jesus with children around the world!

Through our time in 1 Timothy 3:8–13, Guy Burke reminded us that godly service requires godly character. As followers of Jesus, we’re all called to live with integrity, lead with faithfulness, and serve with confidence as we follow the example of our servant King.

We’re grateful for a church family committed to raising the next generation, serving others, and making the hope of Jesus known — in our neighborhoods and around the world!
