Who Do You Say That I Am? 🔑

This Sunday, Jesus asks a question that still speaks directly to us:

“But who do you say that I am?”

Peter answers, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” Jesus then tells Peter:

“On this rock I will build my church... I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 16:15-19

Today’s image brings that Gospel to life. The keys point to Jesus’ promise of the keys of the kingdom, while the knotted cord reminds us that God binds his faithful people together, forming us into the body of Christ.

And beneath it all is the promise that Christ himself is our rock and foundation.

Join us this Sunday as we hear this powerful Gospel and consider the question Jesus asks every generation: Who do you say that I am?
