"When the Spirit Blows, Watch Out!!"

The Holy Spirit has a way of showing up when we least expect it and changing everything.

This Pentecost Sunday, Pastor Sonnenberg reminds us that God's Spirit is not something we can control or predict. Like the wind, the Spirit moves where it wills, bringing faith, courage, comfort, and new life.

If you've ever wondered how God is still at work in the world today, this message is for you.

Watch Pastor Sonnenberg's sermon and be encouraged by the power of the Holy Spirit in our lives.

This Memorial Day, the family of St. John's Lutheran Church pauses to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation.

As we gather with loved ones this weekend, may we also hold in our hearts the Gold Star families and all those carrying the memory of someone who never made it home.

“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” — John 15:13

May God bless the memory of the fallen and bring peace to their families. 🇺🇸

What changed a frightened group of disciples into people bold enough to change the world?

Pentecost.

Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Lutheran Church as we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit — the wind, the fire, and the promise that God is still at work in our lives today.

Whether you’ve been in church your whole life or haven’t walked through the doors in years, you are welcome here.

Prayer of the Day
Let us pray. O God, on this day you open the hearts of your faithful people by sending into us your Holy Spirit. Direct us by the light of that Spirit, that we may have a right judgment in all things and rejoice at all times in your peace, through Jesus Christ, your Son and our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy
Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.

Is God Right-Handed or Left-Handed?

Pastor Sonnenberg’s Ascension Sunday (5/17/26) message explores a question that is both thoughtful and deeply meaningful as we reflect on Christ ascending into heaven and seated at the right hand of God.

Join us for this inspiring sermon from St. John's Lutheran Church and discover how the Ascension reminds us that Christ still reigns, intercedes for us, and remains present in our lives today.

Watch, reflect, and share with someone who may need encouragement this week.
