Sunday Preview for May 31

05/28/2026

This Sunday, Pastor John reminded us that baptism is an outward expression of an inward reality — our union with Christ. Just as a wedding ceremony celebrates a commitment already made, baptism publicly declares faith in Jesus and identifies us with His death, burial, and resurrection.

Sunday Preview for May 24th

05/21/2026

Last Sunday we were reminded that Biblical stewardship begins not with what we have, but with the condition of our hearts. In a world constantly telling us we need more, God calls us to rest in His provision, trust His care, and cultivate contentment in Christ.

As Megan Hill writes in her devotional, Contentment: Seeing God's Goodness:
“Discontent and its evil companions are everywhere… but if discontent waits around the next corner, grace does too. The God who made you and sustains you is able to make grace abound to you for all things at all times. In the fight against discontentment you are never alone.”

John D. Rockefeller was one of the richest men in history, yet when asked what he needed to be happy, he famously replied: “Just a little bit more.”

Can you relate?

In a world where we are constantly being bombarded with messages of "more" how do we learn to be truly content? What if the endless pursuit of “just a little bit more” is robbing us of the peace God wants for us?

Join us tomorrow for Biblical Stewardship: The Contented Heart as we discover that in Christ, we already have enough.
