Happy Father's Day!

Today we're thankful for all the fathers and father figures who love, encourage, provide for, and invest in the lives of others. We praise God for the ways they reflect His care and faithfulness, and help point us to our perfect Father in Heaven, whose love never fails.

"See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are." — 1 John 3:1

THIS SUNDAY - THE GUSTAFSON FAMILY!

We're so glad to have Mike Gustafson and his family back with us for a visit!

Many of you know Mike grew up right here at Faith before God called him into ministry. Today, he and his family serve with ABWE in Ukraine, and we're excited to welcome them back to our church family for a few days. They'll be staying in our Missions House, and Mike will be sharing an update with us this Sunday.

If you see the Gustafsons around this week, take a moment to say hello and get to know them. Ask about their ministry, hear how God is at work in Ukraine, and encourage them during their time here. One of the blessings of supporting missionaries is building relationships with the people we send and support, and we're grateful for this opportunity to reconnect with the Gustafson family.

We spend so much of life chasing things that promise satisfaction—success, possessions, recognition, experiences—only to find they never fully deliver.

As Pastor John reminded us in Ecclesiastes 1:1–11, life "under the sun" can feel frustratingly empty and futile. But the good news is that true meaning isn't found in what this world offers—it's found in Jesus.

In a world marked by the effects of the Fall, Christ offers the abundant life and meaning our hearts were created for. When everything else fades, He remains our purpose, hope, and joy.
