Hi Folks! We as BHUMC SJAG want to apologize for our absence. Over the past while, we chose to pause and care for our mental health. Showing up for justice requires honesty about our limits and compassion for ourselves, too. Thank you for holding space for us—we’re easing back in with renewed care and commitment. Looking forward to getting back to the work.

🦃 In this time of gratitude, we also acknowledge the truth: this holiday rests on stolen land and Indigenous suffering. May our gratitude be paired with a commitment to justice.

🕯️ Today we remember transgender lives lost to violence. As United Methodists, we must reflect and reconcile with the harm that has been inflicted on the trans community. We also stand with our trans siblings in love, affirmation, and justice.
