Renton Christian Center was planted in 1982 in the Fairwood area by Alex and Pam Ohlsen and has grown from a team of 9 people to our current size of around 250 attending on Sunday mornings. As part of the Foursquare family of churches, we have a commitment to letting God’s word, the Bible, be our primary source of instruction, as well as sharing the good news of Jesus with everyone we can. Ever been to Time Square in NY City? Lights, street noise, crowds, music, gigantic video screens, can be and is very overwhelming. Stimulus overload is more like it. That is the world we live in. Lots of things are bidding for our attention. Lots of voices wanting to distract us. It is in these moments Jesus tells us, “My sheep listen to my voice, I know them and they follow me”.
