SBC Church Family,

In light of the church facilities being within a Get Set evacuation zone, as well as many members of church family being displaced due to the Hawk Fire, we will be canceling worship services this Sunday, August 23. Please be in prayer for our people and for Jesus to be merciful. Pray that God would strengthen the many first responders working through the evening to preserve life and property in our city.

If you are able, consider attending a church near where you are staying. We have two sister churches in south Reno (Mountainside Community Church and Mount Rose EV Free) as well as one in Susanville (Community Church of Susanville). Or consider one of the many other faithful churches in our community.

If any of you have any critical needs during this time, let one of the elders know. We will work to find help as we are able.

Praying with you,
Pastor Glen
