Should we find truth, inherit it, or invent it?

One Truth

We can choose to allow abiding Truth to unfold from within us. In the same way we describe Divine Intelligence as One Mind, there is only One Truth, the essence of an omnipresent Divine Mind. The One Truth begets the truth we comprehend as It filters through our humanness. From Mind to mind, we discover the Truth of us. The unfolding nature of our abiding divinity is how we potentially connect with an increasing awareness of the One Truth as we align more fully with Presence.

In the interim of closing the Truth/truth divide, we use heart-centered logic and reason for discovery and even invent truth in the same way we invent God from the level of our understanding of Divinity. As we come to understand the greater inherent Truth of our being, we’ll also come to a realization that our minds and bodies are temples housing the One Truth.

Should church-state lines be redrawn in USA?
“God Is” and “I Am”

Unity’s 1st and 2nd Principles: “There is One Power and Presence active in the universe and in our lives — and It is Good”; and “All people are made in the image of this Source Power, so our core essence is Good.” If we conducted ourselves with this understanding, I would promote integrating Spiritual Truths into government systems. But unless we’re actively participating with intention to broaden and deepen an awareness of the Divine moving in and through all things, including ourselves, then what we’ll continue to see is discord between religions. Too many leaders prioritize their own beliefs, disregarding folks with differing beliefs, while modeling prayers to curry God’s favor in battle and foreign affairs. This misguided understanding of the One Power behind all creation doesn’t reflect the Truth of us. As we learn to love our neighbor, government will flow from the image of the Divine that we are.

Is love a choice, a feeling, or a state of being?
There is only one Love

. . and we are living in It and as It. All aspects of love we can identify originate as Divine Love. True Love is unlimited. When we express divine love in limited, human ways there is a separation in consciousness, and the resultant expression is personal instead of universal. We have all experienced love as a feeling that waxes and wanes, but the world would be better served if we spent more attention on love as a state of being, which is an extension from Love as Being, or God – the creative, harmonizing Power of the universe. Love is the image of God from which we are made. And if God is good and everywhere present, and we are made in That image, then we are all unified as Love. And so we are given a choice: how to experience yourself knowing Love is what you are.

What is “immoral”?

Judging self and others

Morality, or its converse, immorality, is a conceptual construct dependent upon subjective and objective awareness of “self” and “other” making judgements based on dualistic beliefs. In a God-As-Source Reality, all thoughts and actions are understood as individualized expressions of an underlying, all-encompassing Truth. What one may deem “immoral” for themselves is whatever thought they hold or action they perform that results in an inner awareness of separation from their Source. Knowingly or not, we all act from this center. But to hold one’s personal standard as a yardstick against another is incongruous with True Reality.

Living in a world of human experience with minds that naturally tend to separate and judge, we still have the capacity to rise above finite thinking and connect with our True Nature. Making this choice, we are guided to leave behind limited societal constraints for a deeper understanding of compassion and the Power of Love.
