Gathering for last weekend’s Synod Assembly, we lived out these powerful words from St. Paul’s letter to the early Christians in Rome. From prayerful worship to lively table conversations, joyful singing and generous sharing, serving one another and extending hospitality, all these fruits of the Spirit were present among Southwestern Minnesota Synod Assembly Voting Members.

Synod Assembly is next week – June 5-6! We are so honored to have Rev. Joseph Yoo, Jill Beverlin, and Rev. Dr. Phyllis Blair Milton as our assembly speakers. Friday afternoon attendees will have the opportunity to join them for workshops. Hear more from Jill Beverlin, Director of Coaching Ministries, ELCA, in this video. Tiles are set!! The synod office building renovation includes updated bathrooms! Synod staff are beyond grateful for this beautiful space. We can’t wait to welcome guests, and for everyone to enjoy this building update.

Quick building update! The synod office space has been in transition. We welcomed Anfinson Thompson Accounting as tenants in the east half of the building. The renovation of the west side of the building is to create offices for synod staff. New restrooms are also under construction, but not in this video. The visible progress is exciting to see.
