Today begins the 2026 National Eucharistic Pilgrimage!

Pilgrims set out from St. Augustine, Florida on this Memorial Day weekend, following the St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Route toward Philadelphia.

For the faithful who cannot attend in person, people can participate by submitting prayer intentions and spending time in Eucharistic adoration. The pilgrimage aims to gather 250,000 Holy Hours of prayer for the renewal of the nation, which will be presented to national leaders. People can also participate by utilizing the online lecture series. Every week, a new lecture will be released on the Manna app exploring the intersection of faith, culture, and what it truly means to be American.

Join us in praying for all who walk with Jesus in the Eucharist — that His love may renew hearts across our nation.

BATTLE OF THE BLESSED

ROUND 3 - St. Teresa of Calcutta vs. St. Michael the Archangel

Which saint claims your vote in this divine duel? Vote here: https://forms.microsoft.com/r/0DyJ9Nvvg3

St. Teresa of Calcutta (1910–1997) - St. Teresa founded the Missionaries of Charity and dedicated her life to serving the poorest of the poor. Her work in the slums of Calcutta became a worldwide symbol of compassion in action. She lived with radical simplicity and encouraged others to “do small things with great love.” Her witness of charity touched millions, regardless of religion. Her decades of hidden spiritual trial were met with unwavering fidelity to prayer and service. She was canonized for her heroic charity and unwavering perseverance. // Patron of: the poor, Missionaries of Charity, and those in need of compassion. // Fun fact: She preferred not to smile for cameras, directing joy to the people she served.

St. Michael the Archangel (eternal, created before time) - St. Michael is the leader of the heavenly armies and defender against evil. He appears in the Book of Revelation battling the dragon and protecting God’s people against evil. Catholics call upon him for strength, protection, and courage in spiritual warfare. He is one of the most ancient and beloved heavenly patrons in the Church. Venerated as a heavenly defender and protector. // Patron of: police officers, soldiers, first responders, and protection against evil. // Fun fact: Often depicted with a sword and scales, symbolizing justice and defense.

Voting ends: May 3rd

BATTLE OF THE BLESSED

ROUND 3 - St. Francis of Assisi vs. St. Clare of Assisi

Which saint claims your vote in this divine duel? Vote here: https://forms.microsoft.com/r/VTEQepMReD

St. Francis of Assisi (1181/1182–1226) - St. Francis embraced poverty, simplicity, and joy after a dramatic conversion that led him to renounce his former life of wealth and privilege. Founding the Franciscan Order, he inspired many through his devotion to the Gospel and his love for creation, seeing all creatures as brothers and sisters under God. Francis lived among the poor with humility and compassion, caring for those who struggled. He received the stigmata-the wounds of Christ-as a sign of deep union with the suffering Savior. He was canonized for his radical Gospel living and for renewing the Church during spiritual decline. // Patron of: animals, ecology, merchants, peace, and Italy. // Fun fact: He created the first live Nativity scene.

St. Clare of Assisi (1194–1253) - St. Clare founded the Poor Clares after being inspired by St. Francis. She lived a life of prayer, poverty, and total trust in God. Clare defended her convent from soldiers by raising the monstrance (the sacred vessel that holds the Eucharist), and the attackers retreated—revealing the power of the Eucharist. Her writings show a tender devotion to Christ, especially in His poverty and humility. She was canonized for heroic poverty and Eucharistic faith. // Patron of: television, eye disorders, and embroiderers. // Fun fact: She is patron of television because she miraculously saw Mass on her wall when she was too ill to attend.

Voting ends: May 3rd
