This talk discusses Christian Science and how it explains the practical application of Jesus’ teachings in daily life, for anyone, including through physical healing. Christian Science healer, Alexandre Fischer explores examples from the Bible and shares personal testimonies of healing, all pointing to the fact that God is not far off, but here and now. We’re all capable of understanding this for ourselves, of genuinely feeling infinite, ever-present Love, which is God, and helping others do the same.

Janet Hegarty, international speaker and Christian Science healer, will speak on in discovering how you can establish your own strong foundation and experience the life-changing effects of building on this solid basis for yourself and the world in her talk “How to Make Change for the Better,” open to the public.

She says: “I may not be an architect, but I know the value of a strong foundation,” begins Janet Hegarty. "My life improved when I began building on new views of myself and my identity, which sprang from a better concept of God than I’d had before. This better concept of God brought healing changes to my life in a way that was deep and lasting."

Did you miss "How to Make Change for the Better" a free talk open to the public, hosted by First Church of Christ, Scientist, Vancouver?

In her talk, Christian Science healer and teacher Janet Hegarty said, "I may not be an architect, but I know the value of a strong foundation. My life improved when I began building on new views of myself and my identity, which sprang from a better concept of God than I’d had before. This better concept of God brought healing changes to my life in a way that was deep and lasting."

In-Person lecture: THE SCIENCE OF GOD AND ITS POWER TO HEAL US
Christian Science Church in the University District, 5034 University Way NE, Seattle, WA

Nikki O'Hagan, international speaker and Christian Science healer, will speak on making a paradigm shift in her talk “The Science of God and its Power to Heal Us.”
Misconceptions about ourselves and the world we live in are often corrected by advances in science which bring paradigm shifts to our ways of thinking and understanding existence — like discovering that the earth revolves around the sun, rather than the other way around.

The current matter-based scientific model leaves many questions unanswered and has some thinkers and scientists questioning if it is still the right model. It is interesting to consider if the time has now come for another major paradigm shift in science – a shift that would include God as the center and circumference of all existence. This paradigm shift in thought begins with the questions - how does science relate to God and is there a science that explains God?

Nikki will address these questions and show how the Science of God explains Jesus’ healings, and teachings, makes God knowable and understandable, and provides humanity with a safe and reliable means for caring for ourselves and each other.
