It is also Young People's Sunday, so they will be helping out in service as well as acting out the story. All are welcome and affirmed as beloved children of God at Redding 1st UMC. Near reno, the Hawk Fire has burned more than 10,500 acres as of 8:30 p.m. Saturday. Evacuation warnings and orders have spread north as the fire continues to burn. Our sister churches and congregation members of St. Paul Reno UMC and Reno First UMC are affected.
