Position Summary:
Redding Christian Fellowship is seeking a dedicated Middle School Youth Ministry Director to join our dynamic team. Reporting directly to the Lead Pastor, the ideal candidate will be passionate about helping middle school students develop a strong foundation in their faith while equipping a leadership team of staff and volunteers. This role requires a commitment to teamwork, strong communication skills, and a heart for disciplining young believers and reaching out to unchurched youth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the Ministry Team to develop and implement an engaging ministry program consistent with Scripture and the mission and vision of Redding Christian Fellowship.
• Support the planning and development of youth retreats, mission trips, fundraisers, and other special events, ensuring a balanced and enriching experience for participants.
• Participate in recruiting, training, and equipping a volunteer leadership team for the middle school ministry, fostering a culture of discipleship and spiritual growth.
• Teach Bible lessons on a regular basis, providing an engaging and age-appropriate approach to spiritual instruction.
• Contribute to the planning and facilitation of games and activities for weekly youth meetings, promoting fellowship and community-building among middle school students.
• Attend and actively participate in monthly staff meetings, collaborating with other ministry leaders to ensure effective partnership between various age-specific ministries.
• Maintain open communication with the Middle School Ministry Team regarding assignments, meeting preparation, and performance expectations, demonstrating a commitment to responsibility and organization.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor and approved by the Board of Elders to support the overall success of Redding Christian Fellowship's middle school ministry.

• Demonstrate genuine love for middle school students and a passion for helping them establish lifelong relationships with Jesus Christ.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team of volunteer staff and maintain positive relationships across generational lines.
• Strong organizational skills and a commitment to maintaining high levels of responsibility and dependability.
• Excellent communication skills, demonstrating the ability to collaborate with other ministry staff and contribute to a cohesive team environment.
• Abide by the Redding Christian Fellowship Policies and Procedures Manual, By-laws, and Statement of Faith, reflecting a dedication to personal and professional integrity.

Position Summary:
Redding Christian Fellowship is seeking a dynamic Worship and Media Director to cultivate our church's music and technology for services while overseeing our dedicated music and media teams. The ideal candidate will be an experienced vocalist, skilled in leading worship from an instrument, preferably guitar or piano. They will also possess a strong background in implementing, repairing, and maintaining audiovisual equipment and systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Develop biblical, relational, and intentional songs and arrangements that extend the Gospel message for corporate worship events and gatherings.
• Curate a diverse repertoire that resonates with different generations, incorporating hymns, modern songs, and various musical styles.
• Implement, repair, and maintain all audiovisual equipment used for our corporate worship services, including sound, lighting, Livestream, and projection systems.
• Organize, inventory, and maintain stage and backstage equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and safety.
• Shepherd and mentor music and media team members musically and spiritually, fostering a culture of discipleship and growth.
• Train, develop, and schedule volunteers for workshops, rehearsals, and services, fostering a cohesive and committed team.
• Facilitate prayer, discipleship moments, and relational opportunities to cultivate a Christ-centered community.
• Attend and actively participate in weekly staff or leadership meetings, collaborating on church-wide initiatives and goals.
• Utilize applications such as Planning Center Online, ProPresenter, and SongSelect to streamline service planning and coordination.
• Assist with weddings, funerals, and other special events as needed, providing technical support and stage setup expertise.
• Research, plan, and execute improvement projects to enhance the overall worship experience at Redding Christian Fellowship.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Music, Worship Leadership, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in ministry or a related field, with a strong emphasis on worship leadership.
• 2-5 years of experience in technical and audiovisual roles, demonstrating expertise in sound, lighting, and projection systems.
• Proficiency in reading chord charts and transposing music for musicians, with sheet music reading skills considered a plus.
• Highly skilled in one or multiple instruments, with strong vocal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and event planning skills to create meaningful and seamless worship services.
• A demonstrated call to ministry and commitment to upholding the mission, vision, and strategy of Redding Christian Fellowship.
• Alignment with our church's Statement of Faith and doctrine, exemplifying a Christ-centered lifestyle.
• A humble, teachable, and submissive spirit, fostering healthy relationships with staff, volunteers, and the broader church community.
