🙏🏼❤️ Welcome Back, Milton! ❤️🙏🏼

We are truly blessed and overjoyed to welcome back our custodian, Milton Oliveras, to the Red Bank Corps team!

Milton has been away on sabbatical, taking some much-needed time to focus on himself and his well-being. Today, we are grateful to God that he is doing well and able to rejoin our Corps family.

Milton, you have truly been missed! It is such a blessing to have you back, and we rejoice in seeing God’s faithfulness reflected through your journey of healing and restoration.

We are reminded that even in seasons when we have to slow down, God is still working. He strengthens, restores, renews, and faithfully carries us through.

Welcome home, Milton! We thank God for you, we celebrate your return, and we pray that this new season is filled with continued strength, joy, good health, and abundant blessings. 🙏🏼❤️

❤️ FAMILY DAY AT CAMP TECUMSEH! 🙌🏽🌲

What an amazing and blessed time we had at Family Day at Camp Tecumseh on Saturday! There’s just something special about coming together as the family of God. ❤️

We heard a powerful Word, enjoyed some AMAZING food, shared plenty of laughs, and had the opportunity to fellowship with both old friends and new ones. Most importantly, we left encouraged, refreshed, and reminded of how good God truly is! 🙏🏽

We are grateful for days like this—the kind that remind us that church is so much more than a building. It’s community, fellowship, encouragement, love, and doing life together in Christ. ❤️☝🏽

Thank you to everyone who helped make Family Day such a beautiful experience. Until next time, Camp Tecumseh! 🌲🙌🏽

🙏🏼❤️ Thank You, Captain Melissa Lowell! ❤️🙏🏼

The Salvation Army Red Bank Corps extends a heartfelt thank you to Captain Melissa Lowell for faithfully sharing God’s Word with us yesterday through her message, “The God of Comfort,” from Psalm 23.

What a beautiful reminder that no matter what season of life we find ourselves walking through, we never walk alone. Our Good Shepherd goes before us, walks beside us, restores us when we are weary, and comforts us even in the darkest valleys. 🐑❤️

Captain Melissa, thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to remind us that His presence is our peace, His guidance is trustworthy, and His comfort is available even when our circumstances are difficult.

May we carry the words of Psalm 23 with us throughout this week, resting in the assurance that the Shepherd who leads us is also the God who comforts us. 🙏🏼

May God continue to bless Captain Melissa Lowell and use her ministry to encourage hearts and point others toward Jesus! ❤️☝🏼

A heartfelt thank you to our Spiritual Life Development Sergeant, Julie Santos, for faithfully sharing God’s Word with us from Exodus 1:8–2:10. 🙏🏼❤️

Through the story of Moses’ birth, we were reminded that even in seasons of fear, uncertainty, and opposition, God is still working behind the scenes. What the enemy intends for destruction, God can use as part of His greater plan and purpose. Moses’ life reminds us that God’s hand is present even when we cannot yet see what He is doing.

Julie, thank you for allowing the Lord to use you to encourage His people and for serving with a willing and faithful heart. We are grateful for your leadership, your love for God’s Word, and your commitment to helping others grow deeper in their relationship with Christ.

May we leave this message trusting that God is always at work, His plans cannot be stopped, and His purpose will prevail! 🙌🏼

Thank you, Julie, for sharing what God placed on your heart. May He continue to bless you and use you for His glory! ❤️🙏🏼

We cannot allow the busyness of our calendars to crowd God out of our lives. The enemy doesn’t always have to distract us with bad things—sometimes, he simply keeps us consumed with good things until we have no time left for God.

Don’t fall into that trap. Be intentional about your time with the Lord. Make prayer a priority. Make His Word a priority. Make His presence a priority.

God deserves more than the leftovers of our time, energy, and attention. Give Him your first. Give Him your best. Give Him your heart. ❤️🙏🏼

“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness…” — Matthew 6:33

🌱 THE CONDITION OF THE HEART MATTERS! ❤️

Yesterday, we were blessed to have our Corps Sergeant Major, Orlando Santos, Jr., faithfully share the Word of God with our Red Bank Corps family from Luke 8:1–15, the Parable of the Sower.

Through the four soils—the path, the rocky ground, the thorns, and the good soil—we were challenged to examine the condition of our own hearts and ask ourselves: “What kind of soil am I?”

The seed is good. God’s Word is powerful. But is our heart prepared to receive it, allow it to take root, and produce lasting fruit? 🌱

Thank you, CSM Orlando, for your obedience to God’s calling and for sharing the message He placed upon your heart. We pray that the seeds planted yesterday will continue to grow and that we would become good soil—hearing God’s Word, holding firmly to it, persevering, and bearing fruit for His glory! 🙏🏼❤️

📖 “But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.” — Luke 8:15

Lord, soften our hearts, deepen our roots, remove the thorns, and make us good soil. 🌱❤️

Ms. Julie—or as our Kidz Klub students lovingly call her, Chef “Jewlz”—is always serving with a smile as she prepares delicious, healthy meals during our nutrition classes. Her joyful spirit and servant’s heart are a beautiful reflection of Christ’s love, and we are so grateful for the many ways God uses her to bless our children.

Whether she is teaching nutrition, leading drama, exploring science, or helping with dance, Ms. Julie pours her heart into everything she does. She doesn’t just teach lessons—she invests in lives, encouraging our students to grow in knowledge, confidence, and character.

Ms. Julie, thank you for faithfully answering God’s call to serve and for using the gifts He has entrusted to you to make a lasting impact on the children of Kidz Klub. Your kindness, dedication, and love do not go unnoticed, and we are truly blessed to have you as such an important part of our team. May God continue to strengthen you, bless you abundantly, and multiply the seeds you are planting in the hearts of these precious children.
