I thought I might share this with you. As you know, our church sponsors a food pantry every Wednesday evening from 5 until 7 PM. We don’t always get a lot of people coming in, but when@ we do it is a blessing. Lawrence Johnson shared his testimony at Bible study last night. I am going to share my version here. We had an older woman come in. She said she was from the Philippines. She was using a cane and had to sit down in between shopping. We told her to take her time and that she was quite welcome to do so. In between shopping when she was sitting, she would talk with us. She was very impressed that the Church was doing this. We talked about the church of the United States. She said this is what God would have us to do. She said it’s easy to talk, but we must do something and be in action. Her visit was a blessing to us .  I feel that we are blessed to be there, even on the weeks we do not have customers.  During those times, we fellowship and laugh and chat with each other. We share teaching moments, we share our stories and testimonies, and we console one another in time of need. Thank you, Jesus.
