We are grateful for a wonderful Open House at Jesse Lee Church this past Saturday, held as part of the Maine Methodist Jubilee celebration with the New England Conference Commission on Archives & History.

A special thank you to John Tyler, who wore an 1800s costume and shared the history and lasting impact of Jesse Lee with all who attended. We also enjoyed singing "O for a Thousand Tongues to Sing" together, accompanied by our musician Wendy. The harmony was beautiful and filled the space with joy.

Most of all, we want to thank everyone who worked behind the scenes to make the day possible — those who cleaned, prepared cookies, welcomed guests, and helped in so many ways. Your hospitality and care made this event truly special.

As we remembered God’s faithfulness in the past, we were also reminded that God is still at work today, continuing to move through people and communities in every generation. We are thankful for everyone who joined us in celebrating this meaningful part of our Methodist heritage.

Good Friday Prayer Stations: The Way of the Cross
Join us on Good Friday, April 3, for a self-guided prayer experience as we reflect on Jesus’ journey to the cross. The church will be open from 9 AM to 3 PM. Come anytime to read Scripture, pray, and move through the stations at your own pace in a quiet, contemplative space.
Pause. Reflect. Remember His love.
