Update on Malachi
As September comes to a close we’d like to give an update on Malachi. He is officially 1 year “post treatment”. (This means it has been a year since he had his last chemotherapy.) In another month we will have been home for one year. As of today he has been cleared to be seen every 8 weeks instead of every 4. This is exciting news and we are so thankful to have made it this far. We continue to pray that he remains in remission. Thank you all for your continued prayers for Malachi and our family.

Update on Malachi
Today Malachi had a regular monthly oncology appointment. We were expecting it to be like any other day, but they knew tomorrow is his birthday. So they decorated his room, gave him cake, sang him happy birthday and gave him a Lego set as a birthday present. We were not expecting any of this.

This team makes each kid feel special and they love celebrating every victory. They go above and beyond. We have been so blessed by both Maine Childrens Cancer Program and Barbara Bush Children’s Hospital.

Next week Malachi will attend the Seadogs game as this year’s Slugger Kid. We ask that you please share the link below and help them to be able to help more kids like Malachi.
