Mark your calendars for Wednesday, July 1 @ 5:30pm. Our church will be celebrating our nation’s 250th Anniversary of Independence.
We will have lots of food and games. We are bringing in two large inflatables for the kids. If you choose to wear a swimsuit,
Please wear a t-shirt and shorts over your swimsuit, thanks!

Mary will be getting with you about what food to bring.
We are asking for several of you to make homemade ice cream.
Bring tents and lawn chairs for outside.

Graveside service immediately following at Rainbow Memorial Cemetery

Benevolence Offering
Be prepared to bring a special offering for our benevolence ministries. We will receive this offering at the end of service Sunday morning.
This will assist in ministering to our widows, as well as the homeless and hungry people in our community.

Children’s Ministry Lemonade Fund-raiser
Our children will be selling lemonade in the foyer and at the side entrance for a second week.
Let’s bless them as they prepare for an exciting summer.

Donuts with Dad
On Father’s Day, we welcome our dads to join us in the fellowship hall for delicious donuts from 9am-9:45am.

June 3, 2026
This morning, a precious saint of God, Mary Lou Hill, went to be with the Lord. She battled with health issues and was unable to attend church for quite a while.
Many of our new members may not know her, but those of us who did, loved her dearly. We will announce funeral arrangements in the near future.
The only information I have is that the funeral will be on Friday, June 12, 2026.
Please keep the family in prayer.

The month of June has always been an exciting time for Church of God members in Alabama.
This coming week will be our annual Alabama Church of God Campmeeting.
If you able to attend, it will be a true joy. There will be familiar faces from all over the state, ready to worship the Lord together.
These services are being held Tuesday-Friday, June 2-5 at Metropolitan Church of God in Birmingham 7pm nightly.

It is my prayer for you that your families are blessed and that the favor of God rests upon you.
Stay up-to-date with the church calendar as we head into summer. There is a lot on the schedule.

Be in prayer for service this Sunday. The Lord continues to pour amazing word into me regarding “Carrying God’s Presence”.

GRADUATE RECOGNITION DAY
For those who attend our church and are graduating from High School, kindergarten, elementary school or middle school,
We will be presenting them with a special gift this Sunday, May 31, 2026.

CHILDREN’S MINISTRY LEMONADE FUND-RAISER
On Sunday, June 7, support our kids and purchase some lemonade. This will be “to-go” so you can enjoy them after service.

COUPLES NIGHT
Sunday, June 7 at 5pm, couples are meeting at the church to talk about strengthening our relationships by being an overcomer.

Do you sense it? Something amazing is happening in the world. We are hearing of things that we thought were only possible in sci-fi movies.
People are questioning things that they once thought were absolute. Spiritual warfare is becoming more visible.
Church, this is a pivotal moment to show people the way to God. We alone (Christians world-wide), hold the truth, and that truth will set people free!

Be with us Sunday. There will be a very special presentation for Memorial Day by Bill Estes.

I will be sharing the next move for Safe Harbor. We are preparing to cross a new river in the Spirit.
God even changed my focus on the series we began two weeks ago. Instead of “Carry Your Stone”, I am now
Being led to instruct the church about “Carrying God’s Presence”. Same story…. Different focus.
Pray like you’ve never prayed. Expect your loved ones to be saved soon. Jesus is coming.
