ACCESS GRANTED 🙌🏽🔥

What a Sunday at Hope City!

Today, Pastor Jeff continued our TABERNACLED series as we arrived at the Golden Altar of Incense—the final stop before the veil, where God promised to meet with His people.
The incense rising from the altar gives us a beautiful picture of prayer and worship continually rising before God 🙏🏽

And because of Jesus, what was once restricted access has become ACCESS GRANTED. We are invited to draw near to Him!
No matter what season you’re in—keep praying, keep worshipping, and keep the incense burning 🔥

Everybody has excuses for not doing something…even in the Bible!

Gideon said, “I’m the least.”
Jeremiah said, “I’m too young.”
Moses said “Who am I?” And even begged God to send someone else.
Sarah laughed because she thought what God promised seemed impossible.

But guess what—God STILL used them
Different people. Different excuses. Same God 🙌

The truth is, God has never needed us to have it all figured out before He can use us.
He’s looking for our faith, our obedience, and our willingness to trust Him—even when we feel unqualified, unprepared or unsure.

Your excuse doesn’t disqualify you from what God has called you to 🔥💯

So as we step into a new week, let’s stop focusing on all the reasons we can’t and start trusting the One who says we can through Him🙏

Have a blessed week, Hope City friends & family!
Let’s walk boldly into everything God has for us—not just this week, but in every season ahead❤️

WEEK 8️⃣ — LET THERE BE LIGHT 🕯️✨

Today in our series, we stepped deeper into the Holy Place and took a closer look at the Golden Lampstand.
And Hope City’s very own, Ms. Damica Bell, PREACHED THE HOUSE DOWN! 🔥🙌

The Lampstand reminds us that God is our Source, His Spirit fills us, and His presence leads us.
Just as the gold was hammered and shaped before it carried the flame, God is continually shaping us into who He has called us to be.

And once He shapes us, He fills us 🕊️🔥
But that light was never meant to stay hidden inside the Holy Place.

Jesus is the Light—and we are called to REFLECT His light ✨

We’ve been shaped.
We’ve been filled.
We’ve been drawn close.
Now we’ve been sent to SHINE.

“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12

We weren’t designed to do life alone❤️

From the very beginning, God said, “It is not good for man to be alone.” — Genesis 2:18
Throughout Scripture, we see it again and again: we’re called to encourage one another, pray for one another, carry each other’s burdens, worship together, and build one another up. 🙌

God designed us for community.
There’s something special about gathering with people who can worship with you, pray with you, grow with you, and walk alongside you through every season of life.
That’s what the Church is all about 🫶

So don’t do life alone — come find your community this Sunday at Hope City! 💙

🙏📚 BACK TO SCHOOL DEVOTIONAL - DAY 4

What an incredible night of prayer we had at Hope City!❤️🙌

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to come together and intentionally cover our students, teachers, faculty, staff, schools, and families in prayer and anointing as we prepare for the school year ahead.

But our prayers don’t stop when the school year begins.

As days turn into weeks, and weeks turn into months, there will be victories to celebrate, challenges to navigate, decisions to make, and moments when our students, educators, and families simply need to be reminded that God is with them through it all🙏

So for Day 4, we’re giving you a prayer that you can come back to again and again throughout the school year.

Pray it before the first day.
Pray it before a big test.
Pray it when your student is struggling.
Pray it over a teacher or staff member who needs encouragement.
Pray it when the school year feels overwhelming—and pray it when everything is going great❤️

Bookmark this post—save or screenshot—and share with another family or educator you know!

And whenever you need it throughout the year, come back and use this prayer as a reminder to continually cover our students, educators, schools and families.

The school year may change, but our commitment to prayer doesn’t 🙌🙏
We’re believing together for a blessed school year ahead! 🎒✏️❤️

🏡❤️ BACK TO SCHOOL DEVOTIONAL — DAY 3

As we’ve prayed over our students and educators this week, today we’re turning our attention to the place where so much of their foundation begins — the home.

Day 3 is all about covering our parents, grandparents, guardians, and families as they walk alongside their students throughout this school year 🙏

There will be early mornings, homework, practices, packed schedules, big wins and challenging days. Through all of it, we’re praying for homes filled with peace, patience, wisdom, encouragement, and most importantly, the presence of God.

May we be reminded that even when we can’t walk into every classroom, sit beside our children, or be there for every moment — our prayers can go where we cannot ❤️

And TONIGHT, we’re taking these prayers beyond social media! 🙌

Join us at Hope City from 6–7 PM for a special time of Back-to-School Prayer and anointing.
Bring your students and your family as we intentionally cover our students, educators, families, and schools and believe together for God’s protection, wisdom, favor, and presence throughout this school year.

Let’s cover this school year in prayer! 🎒📚❤️

🍎📚 BACK TO SCHOOL DEVOTIONAL — DAY 2

Today, we’re covering the incredible teachers, faculty, and staff who pour into our students every single day❤️

Behind every classroom, hallway, lunchroom, office, and school building are people who have been entrusted with the opportunity to teach, encourage, lead, protect, and make an impact in the lives of the next generation.

As we enter this new school year, we’re praying that God gives every educator and staff member wisdom for every decision, patience for every challenge, strength for every long day, and grace for every student they encounter 🙏

May your classrooms and workplaces be filled with peace. May God refresh you when you’re weary, encourage you when the work feels difficult, and remind you that the seeds you plant today can make an impact far beyond this school year 🌱

And tomorrow, we want to pray over you in person 🙌

We invite all teachers, faculty, and school staff to join us at Hope City for Corporate Prayer tomorrow from 6–7 PM as we intentionally pray and anoint those stepping into this school year!

🎒📚 BACK TO SCHOOL DEVOTIONAL — DAY 1

As a new school year begins, we want to do more than prepare backpacks, classrooms, schedules, and supplies — we want to cover this school year in prayer 🙏

Throughout this week, we’ll be sharing a guided devotional and prayer as we intentionally pray over every part of our school communities — our students, teachers, faculty, staff, administrators, and families.

Today, we begin with our students ❤️

From the little ones walking into a classroom for the very first time, to our elementary, junior high and high school students, all the way to those beginning another semester of college — we’re praying for you!

We pray for protection, wisdom, confidence, meaningful friendships, and a heart that continues to grow closer to God.
May our students walk into every classroom knowing that God goes before them, walks beside them, and is with them every step of the way 🙌

Join us throughout this week as we pray and believe together for a blessed school year! 🎓✏️🙏
And as we pray together throughout the week, we want to come together and pray together in person 🙏

Join us this Wednesday from 6–7 PM at Hope City for an intentional time of prayer and anointing over the school year.
We’ll be covering our students, teachers, faculty, staff, administrators, and families — praying for God’s protection, wisdom, favor, and presence everywhere they go.

Bring your students. Bring your family. Let’s come together and cover this school year in prayer! ❤️🙌
