“Give me your first, and there will always be enough.” God is not limited by your lack. He is limited by your lack of obedience. Stop blocking your blessings — open your hands and watch Him move.

What if the very thing standing between you and God’s provision is your grip on what little you think you have?

In 1 Kings 17, a widow with barely enough flour and oil to survive one last meal was asked to give her first and best to Elijah. She obeyed. And what was left over became always enough, day after day, as God proved himself faithful beyond what she could see.

Your lack is not God’s limit. He is more than able to do more than you could think, ask, or imagine (Ephesians 3:20). But when we live with a scarcity mindset, fixated on what we do not have, we block the very blessings he is waiting to pour out. The world of the generous gets larger. The world of the stingy gets smaller (Proverbs 11:24-25).

Give him your first. Trust him with the rest. He is the God of always enough.

What if grief could actually be good? Not because loss is easy, but because God is faithful enough to meet us in the middle of it and bring glory out of it.

This week we explored the story of Mary, Martha, and Lazarus in John 11. When Lazarus died, his sisters did not run from Jesus — they ran to him. With their hope, with their hurt, and with their hallelujah. Even when the outcome was not what they expected, they brought it all to his feet.

Jesus wept with them. He weeps with you too. Whatever grief you are carrying today, he sees you, he loves you, and he is asking for you.
Bring your hope. Bring your hurt. Bring your hallelujah. Good can come from grief because God is good.
