Christ is risen! He is risen, indeed! Alleluia!

What a joy to celebrate the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior on Easter Sunday at Trinty with nearly 500 people!

Even with the glory of Easter still very fresh in mind, we turn our attention on Tuesday also to matters of state and congregational leadership.

WI Supreme Court Election – Tuesday

One of the great blessings of our republic is the privilege of electing political leaders and, in some cases, jurists. Exercise that right!

The election tomorrow (despite being poorly promoted) is one of the most significant in Wisconsin – the 10-year term election of a Supreme Court judge.

Trinity Spring Voters’ Meeting, Tuesday, 6:30pm

While it won’t be as spirited as singing “Jesus Christ is Risen Today” we still need to meet as a congregation to attend to several matters of congregational leadership. Please attend!

On the agenda: ratifying the budget and spending plan for the coming fiscal year, including setting the salary guideline for our hard-working and faithful staff; affirming the men and women who will serve as officers and Board members for the coming term, affirming policy language that helps guide the day-to-day operations of church & school.

Sure, you do more exciting things in life, but this needs your attention, too. Again, please attend.

Serving the Risen Christ and His people at Trinty,

Pastor Gehne

Jesus said “Follow me.” Join us as we follow our Lord through His Passion and on to the joy of Resurrection!

Be a part of this most Holy Week…

16_Maundy ThursdayMaundy Thursday ~ April 2, 7:30pm

Join us tonight as we hear Jesus declare
“This is my body; this is my blood.”

We commemorate God’s gift of Holy Communion -
God’s grace given us in bread and wine.

Good Friday ~ April 3, 7:30pm

We gather in the growing darkness at the foot of the cross
to bear witness to the depth of God’s love for us, that Jesus
would willingly suffer and die in our place.

Please do not neglect this somber and critical observance.

Easter Prayer Service ~ April 4, 5:00pm

As we await Easter, listen to and meditate on the Passion from John’s Gospel, read by six Trinity voices from the chancel.

Sing the beautiful hymns of meditation “Were You There,” “O Dearest Jesus,” “Abide with Me.”

A time of personal meditation and prayer is available from 6pm until midnight for anyone who wishes to be in the sanctuary.

Lenten Worship-6:30pm in the Sanctuary

Our theme “For us” is not simply a pithy line to use because it is easy to repeat. It is a confession of who God is and what He brings in giving us His Son. It helps us understand why God would send His Son to die for us.

Our worship life in Christ is strengthened each Wednesday evening as we follow our Lord’s passion and see the many ways in which He demonstrates Himself to be for us. The hymn “O Love, How Deep” serves as a kind of guide on our journey.

Let these weeks of Lent be special time of reflection, worship, and preparation.

May your confidence always be in Jesus,
Pastor Gehne

Blessed Season of Lent!

“Return to the Lord, your God, for He is gracious and merciful,
slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love…” - Joel 2:13

Throughout the season of Lent we will share meals and worship on Wednesday evenings. What a great opportunity to restore the tradition of fellowship and mid-week worship. No cooking required!

Chili Cook-Off

This has been a favorite for years. Come to the gym about 5:30pm to taste a variety of Trinity-family chili recipes and vote for your favorite. It’s a great way to make a meal of sampling chilies and just enjoying the comradery. There’s no cost for dinner. We’ll accept donations that will support our area food bank. Join us!

The 5th and 6th grade classes are working hard to present a message of faith and love in our Lord Jesus Christ as he prepares to head to the cross to pay for our sins. The students have been invited to sing at the 10:30 Palm Sunday Service on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

Blessed Season of Lent!

“Remember that you are dust and to dust you shall return”

- From Genesis 3:19

Ash Wednesday

On this Ash Wednesday, 6:30pm, we observe again the beginning of Lent with an invitation to be marked with ash – a symbol of our origin and earthly destiny, and with the sign of the cross – a symbol of the grace of God and our eternal destiny by faith in Christ.

By this mark we bear quiet, humble witness to the covenant God has established with all who believe.

Join us for worship, receive the imposition of ashes if you wish, and come to the table of Holy Communion.

For Lent we will be using a series titled, "For Us." It is based on hymn 544, "Oh Love, How Deep." Four of the seven verses of the hymn begin, "For us." During the next several weeks, we will be doing a Bible study based on this same theme, looking at the hymn and the text surrounding it. Join us Sunday morning between services for this Lenten Bible study. We meet at 9:15 in the church basement.
