Jim and Sherry’s story is a reminder that love can find us at any stage of life. Read how their relationship blossomed during Older Adult Ministries Camp at Camp CONNRI.

The two lived in the same apartment complex and occasionally crossed paths, but they barely knew one another. It wasn't until they both attended The Salvation Army's Senior Camp at Camp CONNRI in Ashford, Connecticut, that everything changed.

Family Camp 2026 brought us a meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and carnival games! Members of corps all across CT and RI were invited to Camp CONNRI to celebrate the love and joy of togetherness with their families. The children played carnival games, collected tickets, and traded them in for lots of prizes!

What a great day at Summer of Stories & Snacks! 📚☀️

Yesterday, we had a wonderful outing at Tasca Automotive Group in Cranston, filled with stories, smiles, and summer fun. A special thank you to Karah Bailey WTXL from NBC 10 WJAR for joining us as our guest reader, and to Del's Lemonade for helping make the day even sweeter! 🍋
