Greetings Church,
We read in Joh 16:33 "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world."
The moment that we claimed Jesus Christ as our Lord we immediately entered into a war zone, a true spiritual unseen battleground. When we determined in our heart that we would follow Him no matter what, we should expect our unseen enemy to launch his attacks against us, and his attacks are very real. Our war should never be fought against our brothers and sisters but against our enemy and what really complicates our battles is the fact that our enemy is invisible.
We shouldn’t always look for the devil in every situation, but we can never keep our head in the sand and try to ignore the reality of our enemy. We have to understand that there is a true conspiracy taking place all around us. There is a sinister war being waged and if we don’t see it, we can become hopelessly confused and enticed. When John wrote 1Jo 2:15; “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.”, he understood, and wants us to understand, what things would be like in the latter days.
Satan is the mastermind behind this world system. His plan is to leave God out and to create hostility towards God’s Holy Word, the Scriptures. His goal is to destroy the Church that Jesus has and is building. Under the permissive will of our Heavenly Father this world is running on a fast-paced course that is filled with all of the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eye, and the pride of life. Everything that is occurring is under the watchful eye of our Heavenly Father, who at times allows adversity (Satan) to have his way.
We as the Church need to have obvious warning against our enemy because this “roaring lion” is constantly walking about seeking whom he may devour”. Satan is the enemy of our soul, and he wants nothing more than to tap into our sinful nature and build a wall between God and us. This is why we, as the Church, need to have strong warnings to keep us awake to the reality of the culture of this day and age. It is of the utmost importance that we, as true worshipers, have a desire to be together in corporate worship. But there are going to be times when we are unable to be together, and this is when we must be the strongest and do as Jude tells us in Jude 1:20-21; 20 But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, 21 Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
Remember what Paul tell us in Ro 10:17; “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Read your Bible and Pray as often as you possibly can and be mindful of what you allow your heart to feast on. Let’s not give the devil a stronghold. Stay Safe and warm and may GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!

24 Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
