GREAT NEWS!!

AWANA will be coming back this fall!

Details coming soon.

05/28/2020

I’m sad and impressed this year. With the onset of a global pandemic and quarantine order, we missed several weeks of club in which students could have finished their books. That said, several clubbers had already finished their books before the quarantine started, and several others worked and finished them at home.

So, we’re sorry we could not put on our normal awards presentation, but I wanted to announce that book completion awards were mailed out earlier this week.

I’m going to give a quick shot out to a few who are receiving special awards this year.

Amelia Hall and Stella Dillon will receive the Sparky Award for having completed all three of their handbooks while in Sparks.

Elizabeth (Beth) Klein will receive the Timothy Award for completing handbooks all four years while with our Truth & Training group.

We miss all of the kids, and we are really looking forward to meeting again soon.

The AWANA leaders from FBC Proctorville want to say hello to you and your clubber. We miss them, and we’re praying for them.

Since we don’t know when we’ll be able to resume club, we want to make sure that your clubber still has the opportunity to grow in the love and knowledge of Jesus.

We also want them to be able to stay on track and complete their handbook. That’s where you can help.

Here are some tips on completing their sections:
• Handbook sections should be completed in order.
• Clubbers need to complete all written work and recite the memory verse(s) and reference in each section.
• The family member assisting the clubber must sign and date the section when completed.

I’m going to ask one more favor. Send us some pics of you and your clubber working on their handbook. We would love to see them.

With prayer and consideration, we’ve decided to close our Awana club until further notice.
