Princeton Friends Meeting

Princeton Friends Meeting We worship on Sundays at 9am and 11am in the Meeting House at 470 Quaker Road. All are welcome! Our worship is held in silence.

What to Expect in a Meeting for Worship

Friends' worship is based on the belief that there is that of God in each person. Each person is able to have direct experience of the Divine, without the formality of ritual or creed. Each person waits upon the Divine in silent prayer, meditation or inward reflection. Some may feel led to stand and share a thought, observation, or insight with others. Frie

nds hold that such messages arise from Divine leading. The format is simple, but can be a profoundly rich experience for individual led to this form of worship. Our community respects and values the more formal ways of worship practiced by other faith traditions. Worship is held in the Meeting House at two times each Sunday: 9am and 11am. Each meeting for worship lasts an hour. Afterwards Friends and visitors are welcomed to the First Day School building for fellowship and refreshments.
