It’s easy to forget how far God has brought us.

We can get so focused on what’s right in front of us that we lose sight of the mercy that carried us through every season behind us.

Paul’s warning in Romans 11 wasn’t just for the church in Rome—it’s for us too. Don’t let pride grow where gratitude should be. Don’t forget where you came from. Don’t forget the patience God showed you, the grace He poured out on you, and the mercy that met you when you needed it most.

This week, take these three challenges seriously. Not as another religious checklist, but as an opportunity to let the mercy you’ve received shape the way you live.

Because when we remember our story, extend mercy to others, and trust God when we don’t understand what He’s doing, our lives begin to reflect the same grace that rescued us.

“May we never become so familiar with the grace of God that we stop being amazed by it.”

On a weekend where we remember sacrifice and celebrate the freedom we’ve been given, we were reminded of an even greater freedom found in Christ.

In Romans 11, Paul reminds us that God is still calling a remnant — ordinary people willing to stay faithful in a world that keeps drifting further from Him.

This week’s challenge:

1️⃣ Examine what has become normal
Have we become spiritually numb to things God never intended us to be comfortable with?

2️⃣ Be part of the remnant
Faithfulness still matters, even when it feels lonely, unpopular, or outnumbered.

3️⃣ Make the Gospel attractive
Does the way we live make people hungry for the peace, grace, and love of Jesus?

The world doesn’t need more people claiming Christianity.
It needs people who actually look like Christ.

Not perfect.
Not polished.
Just faithful.

Let’s be people who stand out by living differently, loving deeply, and staying rooted in truth. The remnant still matters, and God still works through faithful hearts.

The gospel was never meant to stop with us.

Somebody prayed for you.
Somebody invited you.
Somebody kept believing God for you when you were still running the other direction.

And now there are people connected to your life who need that same hope.

This week’s message from Romans 10 challenged us to stop living passively and start living sent. Not by trying to “save the world” on our own… but by being faithful with the people God has already placed in front of us.

As you swipe through these challenges, which one hits you the hardest this week?

1️⃣ Stop Treating Your Faith Like a Private Hobby
2️⃣ Identify Where God Has Already Placed You
3️⃣ Replace Passivity With Participation

So many of us are exhausted from trying to hold everything together.

Trying to fix ourselves.
Trying to earn approval.
Trying to control outcomes.
Trying to carry burdens we were never meant to carry.

But Romans 10 reminds us that salvation was never about us climbing our way to God. It was about surrendering to the One who already came near to us through Jesus.

Sometimes the hardest part of faith is not understanding the gospel… it’s letting go of control long enough to actually believe it.

This week’s 3 challenges:

• Identify what you are truly trusting in
• Publicly acknowledge Jesus somewhere this week
• Surrender what has been off limits to God

Which one challenges you the most right now?
