Something special is coming… 👀

We’ve been working on something for our 5 Year Anniversary, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

Five years of stories. Five years of God at work. And we believe He’s just getting started.

September 20. Celebrate with us! 🎉

🎉 KAIROS IS TURNING 5!

On Sunday, September 20, we’re celebrating five years of God’s faithfulness—and we want you to be part of it.

Whether you’ve been with Kairos from the beginning, joined us somewhere along the way, or haven’t been around in a while, you’re invited to celebrate with us.

Worship at 11:15 AM followed by a celebration lunch together.

Five years of God at work. And we believe there’s so much more ahead.

🌿 SABBATH SUNDAY — SEPTEMBER 6

On Sunday, September 6, Kairos will not gather for worship. Instead, we’re intentionally making space to practice Sabbath together.

This isn’t simply a Sunday off. It’s an invitation to stop, rest, trust that God is at work even when we aren’t—and enjoy the good gifts He has given us.

In his book Sabbath, Dan Allender writes: “The only parameter that is to guide our Sabbath is delight.”

So, do what is delightful.

Sleep in. Take a walk. Go to the shore. Share a great meal. Play with your kids. Read a book. Spend unhurried time with Jesus. Enjoy creation. Put the phone away.

Whatever you do, receive the day as a gift and delight in the God who gave it.

We’ll see you back at Kairos on September 13 at 11:15 AM! 🙌

A huge thank you to Lawrenceville Rehab for generously donating 50 backpacks to help us bless students and families in need as we begin a new school year! 🎒

At Kairos, we love partnering with local organizations that care about our community—and we’re always looking for more ways to work together to serve our neighbors.

We’re here for Lawrenceville, and we’re so thankful Lawrenceville Rehab is too. 💙

The Kingdom is our Pursuit 🙌

This past Sunday at our Center City Network Unity Service, we had the privilege of celebrating John as he took a meaningful step of faith through baptism.

John has followed Jesus for many years, but in this season sensed God speaking to him and leading him to take this step. As John shared in his testimony, “God’s plan doesn’t always look like the one we had in mind, but we can trust Him and keep following.”

What a reminder that no matter how long we’ve followed Jesus, He is still speaking, still leading, and still inviting us to follow Him.

John and his wife Anita were once part of the Kairos family and now call Riverside Chapel home. Pastor Jesse had the privilege of joining Pastor Scott from Riverside in baptizing John—a beautiful picture of one of our core values: The Kingdom is our Pursuit.

God’s Kingdom is bigger than any one local church. We love seeing lives intertwined, churches connected, and Jesus continuing to work through it all.

Different churches. One Church. The Kingdom moving forward.

First day of school! 🎒

A quick prayer for our kids, teachers, school staff, and families as we begin a new school year.

There will be a lot of moments this year—the exciting ones, hard ones, ordinary ones, and everything in between. Our prayer is that we would find Jesus in every one of them.

We’ll also share a couple of prayers from Every Moment Holy in our stories today that you can pray with your family.

📍 THIS SUNDAY — ONE CHURCH, TOGETHER!

This Sunday, Kairos is joining churches from across our area for the Center City Network Unity Service 🙌

We’re excited to step outside of our normal Sunday gathering and be reminded that we’re part of something much bigger—God is at work through His Church in our communities and around the world!

We’ll worship together, hear from missionary Rick Romano about what God is doing in the Dominican Republic, and celebrate baptisms during the service! 🌊🙌

Then stick around afterward for the Back to School Celebration with food, inflatables, and more.

🗓 Sunday, August 30
⏰ 10:30 AM
📍 Pond Middle School

What a week at Kairos. 🌿☀️

After an incredible week of Rooted Kids Camp, Summer on the Lawn was the perfect way to wrap it all up — good food, kids running around, and time simply enjoying being together.

We especially loved welcoming back several families we met through camp, along with others visiting Kairos for the first time. There’s something beautiful about seeing new faces becoming familiar ones and making room for new friendships to grow.

We also took time to surround Pastor Jason and Selina with prayer as Jason transition off staff at Kairos. We’re grateful for the years they have shared with our church and for the ways they have loved and served our kids and families.

Jason and Selina, thank you. We’re grateful for you, and we pray God’s grace and blessing over your family in the season ahead.

From a week of investing in kids to a lawn full of families, food, laughter, and prayer — this is what we love about being the church.

Grateful for what God is doing here in Lawrenceville.
