The kids are having their 3rd annual bake sale fundraiser. All money earned goes to pay for the older kids field trips, the Friday lunches the kids cook for everyone, and we are looking for special things for the littles to do as well.

My name is Christopher Finnell, and I am honored to serve as the new principal of Prairie Catholic School. I am excited to become part of such a strong and faith-filled community.
I was raised in G**s Mills, where my Catholic faith and values were deeply shaped by my parents, grandparents, and the example of small-town community life. Faith has always been an important part of who I am and continues to guide both my personal life and my work in education.
My wife and I are blessed with
four boys, ages 16, 14, 13, and 1, along with our two dogs. Our youngest son was born 14 weeks early and is truly our little miracle baby. Through many prayers, incredible support, and God's grace, he is now thriving and doing wonderfully. That experience strengthened my faith and reminded me of the importance of compassion, prayer, and community.
Before becoming a principal, I worked in public education as a special education teacher, where I developed a strong passion for helping all students succeed. Throughout my career, I have also served as a coach, National Honor Society advisor, and CCD teacher.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering
in the community, and getting together with my brothers and sister. I am also proud to serve on the G**s Mills Volunteer Fire Department.
I look forward to meeting students, parents, parishioners, and community members as we continue the mission of Prairie Catholic School to-gether.
