Prayer is more than words, it action in response to God’s grace in us. As God has blessed us, we are to bless others. If God pricks your heart for Nepal, let your prayers become a sacrifice of love. I am channeling funds through our ministry in Nepal to serve those who are suffering.
James 2:14-17 “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”

I know there has been flooding in our region also; however, the extent of flooding, mudslides, and now an earthquake are doing severe damage to already poor infrastructure in rural Nepal. Pray for protection and relief aid for the people of Nepal.

I agree with Chan. It is the word of God that informs and the Holy Spirit who enables us to be shaped by God’s word into Christlikeness. The Church needs to be saturated in God’s word so His Spirit can mold us and use us for His will. May we be that kind of people in God’s Church.
