WHAT DOES GOD SAY ABOUT?
As my body grows older and tried, do I give up or try to keep going forward?
Psalms 73:26 says “My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever”.
If we are true believers that there is a God, and the Bible is true, then our physical challenges of aging are met with the promise of eternal life and a renewed, perfect body.

As our body began to fail and look old and worn , we must learn to stop focusing on what we look like on the outside and start looking inside and spiritual renewal.

Isaiah 46:4 should give us the inspiration and hope that God is always by our sides. “And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you: I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you”.
As we grow older and our body seems to start running out of energy, we must remember.

1. WE ALWAYS FALL SHORT
2. We run out of ENERGY
3. We run out of ANSWERS
4. We run out of RESOURCES
What we must remember is, this is why we need to stay in close relationship with God.

God knew we would run out of energy, answers, and resources. Before you ask, no He did not set us up to fail!” He set us up to depend on Him, and to succeed!

“Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall: But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint”. Isaiah 40:30-31.

The only way to regain strength is for us to rest.
This was the blessing of the Sabbath – and the refusal to honor the Sabbath was man’s greatest demonstration that he was not partnering with God. Sometimes we are like babies that are fighting sleep. That baby is miserable, and getting all worked up, because it fears that it might miss something. And we’re just saying, if you would just sleep – it would all be ok. That must be how it is so often between us and God. He’s saying, “Would you just relax??”
“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls”. Matthew 11:28-30.

Remember, we was made to worship the Lord and to serve Him with all our hearts and to be teachers and to show leadership to the younger people.

Why do we need time alone with our Lord Jesus Christ?

When we spend time alone with God, we rid our minds of distraction so that we can focus on Jesus and can hear and concentrate on the Word of God. When we abide in Him, we need the alone time enjoy the intimacy to which He calls us and come to truly know Him.

I think perhaps one of the best reason for us to spend time alone with God is to follow the biblical examples. In the Old Testament, we see God call prophets to come to Him alone. Moses met with God alone at the burning bush and then on Mt. Sinai. David, whose many psalms reflect a confident familiarity with God, communed with Him while on the run from Saul as told in Psalm 57. God’s presence passed by as Elijah was in the cave. In the New Testament, Jesus spent many time alone with God to pray and seek His guidance.

In Matthew 6:6, Jesus actually instructed us to pray to God alone at times: "But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly".

To rely on Jesus as our vine, "read John 15:1-7", we will need to be directly, intimately connected to Him one on one. Just as a branch is linked directly to the vine and, through the vine, connected to other branches, so we are connected directly to Christ and therefore we share in a community. We spend time alone with God and in corporate worship for our best nourishment. Without time alone with God, we will find needs unmet; we will not truly know the abundant of life that God gives to us.

If you don't have quite time with God, try it for yourself and feel a present you have never felt before.

We all will have to be righteous before we can enter into Heaven! Jesus did not do away with the law of Moses’ but He came to fulfill the law by going to the CROSS!!!

“Do not presume that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish, but to fulfill. 18 For truly I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not the smallest letter or stroke of a letter shall pass from the Law, until all is accomplished! 19 Therefore, whoever nullifies one of the least of these commandments, and teaches others to do the same, shall be called least in the kingdom of heaven; but whoever keeps and teaches them, he shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 “For I say to you that unless your righteousness far surpasses that of the scribes and Pharisees, you will not enter the kingdom of heaven. (Matthew 5:17-20)

In this Scripture, Jesus emphasized the eternal nature of the Word of God. Jesus goes out of His way to promote the authority of the Law of God. He did not come to abolish the Law, regardless of what the Pharisees accused Him of. In fact, Jesus continues His statement with a commendation for those who teach the Law accurately and hold it in reverence. Jesus says that He did not come to abolish the Law and the Prophets. In other words, Jesus’ purpose was not to abrogate the Word, dissolve it, or render it invalid. The Prophets will be fulfilled; the Law will continue to accomplish the purpose for which it was given.

Jesus Christ fulfilled the Law in at least two ways: as a teacher and as a doer. He taught people to obey the Law and He obeyed the Law Himself. In living a perfect life, Jesus fulfilled the moral laws; in His sacrificial death, Jesus fulfilled the ceremonial laws. Christ came not to destroy the old religious system but to build upon it; He came to finish the Old Covenant and establish the New.

Jesus came not to destroy the Law and the Prophets but to fulfill them. In fact, the ceremonies, sacrifices, and other elements of the Old Covenant were “only a shadow of the good things that are coming—not the realities themselves” (Hebrews 10:1). The tabernacle and temple were “ For Christ did not enter a holy place made by hands, a mere copy of the true one, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us;” (Hebrews 9:24). The Law had a built-in expiration date, being filled as it was with “ since they relate only to food, drink, and various washings, regulations for the body imposed until a time of reformation” (Hebrews 9:10).

In His fulfillment of the Law and Prophets, Jesus obtained our eternal salvation. No more were priests required to offer sacrifices and enter the holy place, Jesus has done that for us once and for all. By grace through faith, we are made right with God: “He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross” (Colossians 2:14).

There are some who argue that, since Jesus did not “abolish” the Law, then the Law is still in effect—and still binding on New Testament Christians. But Paul is clear that the believer in Christ is no longer under the Law: “We were held in custody under the Law, locked up until faith should be revealed. So the Law became our guardian to lead us to Christ, that we might be justified by faith. Now that faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian” (Galatians 3:23-25). We are not under the Mosaic Law but we are under “the law of Christ” as it says in Galatians 6:2.

If the Law is still binding on us today, then it has not yet accomplished its purpose—it has not yet been fulfilled. If the Law, as a legal system, is still binding on us today, then Jesus was wrong in claiming to fulfill it and His sacrifice on the cross was insufficient to save. Thank God, Jesus fulfilled the whole Law and now grants us His righteousness as a free gift. “ nevertheless, knowing that a person is not justified by works of]the Law but through faith in Christ Jesus, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, so that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the Law; since by works of the Law no flesh will be justified.” (Galatians 2:16).
Just by proclaiming to be a Christian, does not earn you righteousness.

One must live and abide by having Faith and Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ. We must be justified by faith and not by works of the Law. May God be with you today!

Fix Your Eyes on Our Lord Jesus Christ! Proverbs 4:25-27

25 Let your eyes look directly ahead
And let your [a]gaze be fixed straight in front of you.
26 [b]Watch the path of your feet,
And all your ways will be established.
27 Do not turn to the right or to the left;
Turn your foot from evil. (Proverbs 4:25-27 New American Standard Bible)

Solomon is telling us in this proverb that we must keep our eyes fixed on what is before us if we’re going to stay on the path of righteousness. We should think carefully about or ponder the path on which our feet are taking us as we keep our gaze fixed on what’s ahead.

On a spiritual level, Proverbs 4:25 stresses the importance of staying on the righteous path by avoiding distractions and temptations that may lead us away from our godly goals and biblical principles. The wisdom of letting our eyes “look straight ahead” is echoed in the New Testament book of Hebrews, where believers are taught to avoid distractions and hindrances by stripping “Therefore, since we also have such a great cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let’s rid ourselves of every obstacle and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let’s run with endurance the race that is set before us,” (Hebrews 12:1, NASB). As followers of Christ, we are encouraged to keep running the race of faith with endurance by “looking only at Jesus, the [a]originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of Go” (Hebrews 12:2, NASB).

In Proverbs 4:26, to obtain a broader spiritual context, the verse serves as a guiding principle urging believers to be aware of their choices and the implications they carry. It highlights that each step we take—be it in relationships, career, or personal growth—holds significance. The promise that "all your ways will be established” implies that when we align our actions with wisdom and discernment, we invite stability and divine order into our lives.

Proverbs verse 27 implies that if we fail to keep our gaze straight before us, we will inevitably sway off the path and drift toward sin and wickedness. Where we look makes all the difference in the direction we are headed. Solomon’s point is that we must have a direction, a place we’re heading, if we’re going to keep ourselves from lingering toward sin. In other words, our attention will be given to other things that will keep us from pursuing the righteousness road that God has laid out for us. In fact, just like a very strong wind, it will constantly push you off course, our road is full of external forces pushing and pulling at us all, even screaming at us to get our eyes off what’s before us. All of this leads us to the ultimate question: “On what should we fix our gaze”? What will captivate us in such a way that our eyes will not drift to the right or left? Well, the New Testament makes that clear for us in Hebrews 12:1-2, “ Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, 2 [a]fixing our eyes on Jesus, the [b]author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.”
We are called to keep our eyes on Jesus. Sanctification in the Christian life is marked by developing a love and affection for Christ that overwhelms all competing voices. The more we work to cultivate a longing for the glory of Christ in our hearts, the easier it is to keep our gaze fixed on what’s ahead; not swerving to the left or right but running straight ahead toward Jesus.

Have not been posting much lately because of my and my wife's health but that is no excuse. God went through much more that I go through but still laid down on that old rugged cross knowing He was doing this for a bunch of worthless sinners.

I am so thankful that Jesus didn't feel that we was worthless and so lost that He could not save us. We do not fully understand the reason we go through cancer, heart failure, diabetes, lost of limbs, dementia and other illness, but God never promised a trouble free life but did promise us a eternal life through His Son Jesus Christ.

1 Peter 1:5-6 "Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations: That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ: Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time."

Jesus answer my prayer with a question. Do you not love and trust me as much as I have love you throughout you life? My life of pain and suffering is nothing more or less than what we was told we would go through as Christians. Keep your faith and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ and know by doing so, we have a trouble free life that awaits us all that believe.

Do you believe as a Christian, we should help other when they are in need? What if we all lived up to a value as a person of faith and conviction? According to scripture, we all have a Christian duty toward others.

First, we have a Christian duty to serve each other. The Bible says, "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in its various forms." (1 Peter 4:10) It is in our service that all will see God's grace in action as we demonstrate our faith. Service is the embodiment of Christian love toward others.

In KJV 1611 Bible, Matthew 6:26–27: “Behold the foules of the aire: for they sow not, neither do they reape, nor gather into barnes, yet your heauenly father feedeth them. Are yee not much better then they? Which of you by taking thought, can adde one cubite vnto his stature?

To put this into a reading that will help some understand. "Consider the birds of the sky: They don't sow or reap or gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you worth more than they? Can any of you add one moment to his life span by worrying?"
"Don't worry, God will provide for you."

Has it ever happened when you tried to help someone that it seems to not have done any good? Th To many, they will let that day be forever etched into my memories. Just because you could not help all, don’t let it make you feel discouraged or like a bad friend. As long as you shared the truth of God's Word with the one you are helping, you have done what God intended you to do.
Why didn't it bring comfort to him or her? We have probably experienced both sides of the situation. Maybe you have been like I have in certain situations, unsure of what to say, so you shared a Bible verse or two or a well-meaning comfort that things will get better.

As well-meaning as people might be, their words can often fall short. It addresses the circumstances while neglecting to see the heart of the sufferer. We might avoid those who are suffering out of our own discomfort because we don't know what to say or do. How can we care well for a friend who is suffering or grieving?

If I may give you a suggestion, most of the time, a grieving friend does not need advice. They need the ministry of your presence. A friend's presence can be a healing balm to a wounded heart. Be there for your friend without trying to fix the situation. Sitting with those who are suffering can be awkward. If you are unsure of what they want, you can ask them, "Do you want me to sit with you for a little while? Or would you like to be alone?" You can be present for your friend even from afar with your prayers and text messages. Sometimes you don't need to say anything, you just need to be available.

Those who are suffering often cannot communicate what they need. Instead of putting the burden on them to keep you informed, look at some tangible needs you can meet. What would make your friend's life a little bit easier during this time? Groceries, gift cards, babysitting, even paying for a housekeeper are just a few ways you could serve those who are grieving. If she is struggling to spend time with the Lord in this season, text her Scripture, prayers, or encouragements throughout the day. You may even offer to sit and read Scripture aloud. Find simple ways to be the hands and feet of Jesus in their time of need.
I
n the weeks and months following a significant event or loss, the condolences eventually slow down, the meals stop being delivered, and the caretakers go on to their normal lives. For those who are suffering, it can feel like an additional loss on top of everything else. Continue to be present for your friend by being intentional. Set timers on your phone to remind you to pray and check in.

If we are to help anyone, we must learn to rely on the Holy Spirit to help us and the one’s we are tryiny to help. There may be times when you feel helpless in your efforts to love your friend well. It is good to remind ourselves that we are not the Holy Spirit. We can be faithful to love and pray for those who are grieving without stepping into the role of their savior, carrying the burden of responsibility for their healing or happiness. Instead, we can trust that God will use our words and our service to comfort others and glorify Himself.

Grief does not follow a linear formula where it automatically gets easier as time goes on. There are ups and downs, baby steps forward and giant leaps backward. God is sovereign over grief and suffering. Stepping down from heaven and putting on human flesh, Jesus walked this earth and experienced tremendous suffering as a result. The suffering your friend is walking through might be unfamiliar to you, but it is fully known by the Lord. He knows what it is like to experience pain in a broken world. He knows our sorrows and sees our tears (Psalm 56:8). At the end of the day, the best thing we can do is trust in God to do the work that only He can do.

Are you a Christian that reads your Bible and seeing what’s going on in the world around you, and still have doubts about what God’s Word said? Many Christians’ today is struggling with believing in the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

According to a new survey, a quarter of Christians don't believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Those of you who think this is a statistical blip, in 2017, a BBC produced the same result that a quarter of British Christian’s don’t believe of the resurrection.

If we say we are Christians we must believe that all, “ All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:” (2 Timmothy 3:16) and “For we walk by faith, not by sight: (2 Corinthians 5:7). At the end of the day, if we say we are Christians, but we don’t believe in Jesus’s resurrection, the only person’s we’re deceiving is ourselves.

“For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.”– 1 Corinthians 15:21 (KJV)

Because Adam disobeyed God’s command in the Garden of Eden, sin and death became a reality for every person born after him. Death entered the world through Adam but with hope and faith we must have in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. This resurrection is not just physical; it’s a restoration of our relationship with God, a chance for life that transcends death.

In 1 Corinthians Chapter 15:21, Paul’s message is about hope and redemption. In Christ, we find our pathway from the sorrow of death to the joy of resurrection. It’s important to realize that this resurrection is also tied to faith. By believing in Jesus, we can share in this gift of new life and hope. We’re reminded here how deeply connected our faith is to the story of humanity, tracing back to both Adam and Christ.

When Adam chose to disobey God, he brought sin into the world. The result of that sin was death—both physical death and spiritual separation from God. This separation was not part of God’s original perfect creation. The world that God created was good and without death. But because of Adam’s choice, death became a part of our reality.

he second part of the verse shines a light on hope for us all, introducing Jesus as the one who brings resurrection from the dead. Through His sacrifice on the cross and His subsequent resurrection, Jesus conquered death. This part of the verse continues to resonate with us as believers, reminding us that though we face death, we also have the promise of eternal life. We find reassurance that through faith in Christ, death does not have the final word.

In essence, this verse encapsulates the gospel message. Adam’s failure resulted in the need for salvation. Jesus, the second Adam, came to fulfill God’s plan for redemption. It’s comforting to know that through Jesus, we can return to a right relationship with God, overcoming the consequences of sin.

Paul ‘emphasizes, that our experience of death does not need to be feared. Instead, it can be seen as a transition into a new life promised by Christ’s resurrection. He’s inviting us to embrace the truth that we have victory over death through faith, bringing us hope and encouragement during life’s challenges.

This teaching is essential for understanding the core of Christian faith. It reminds us that our belief in Jesus is what sets us apart and gives us hope for the future. We can trust that just as death entered the world through one man, we have been given the incredible gift of resurrection through another man, our Savior, Jesus Christ. This message through trusting and believing, calls us to live lives of faith and assurance in the promise of eternal life.

This is a long post today but is something I believe people should open their eyes about. Is this us and America today?

How does Deuteronomy 28:1 apply to you as an individual and then when you read on, compare the whole chapter to where America is today. Christians, are we not living in this time right now?

“And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:”
(Deuteronomy 28:1)

Isn’t it amazing how simply obeying God can lead to an abundance of blessings in our lives? Deuteronomy 28:1 encapsulates this beautifully by highlighting the direct correlation between obedience to God’s commands and the outpouring of blessings. When we choose to walk in obedience to God, we position ourselves to receive the abundant blessings He has in store for us. It’s like a loving parent rewarding their child for good behavior; God delights in blessing His children who choose to follow His ways.

Moses told his people in the book of Deuteronomy, Chapter 28, about God's blessings and judgment. Even though at the time it wasn’t written to America, there are striking parallels to what this nation is experiencing today when we compare it to Israel in Moses time. When reading 28:1-14, it is dealing with God’s blessings resulting from obedience, and 28:15-68 is telling us about curses as a result from turning away from God.

Let's start by first looking at the blessings of obedience and we will then see how the tide has shifted. In the first part of this chapter, we see that God's blessings will be upon offspring, agricultural production, and personal labor in verse 1-5. In verse 7, we see the enemies rising up against the people, will be defeated. "The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto; and he shall bless thee in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. (vs. 8). Going down to verses 9-14, several more blessings are listed: abundance of prosperity, giving rain to the land in its season, lending to many nations, and being the head and above all, not the tail.

"But," it says in verse 15, "But it shall come to pass, if thou wilt not hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe to do all his commandments and his statutes which I command thee this day; that all these curses shall come upon thee, and overtake thee:" Verse 20 warns, "The LORD shall send upon thee cursing, vexation, and rebuke, in all that thou settest thine hand unto for to do, until thou be destroyed, and until thou perish quickly; because of the wickedness of thy doings, whereby thou hast forsaken me.” The Lord will send upon you curses, confusion, and rebuke in all you undertake to do..." Is not this exactly what is happening more and more today in American politics and foreign policy? Take careful notice and look at all the confusion and turmoil that is going on in Washington D.C.

We are also being overtaken by pestilence and consumption, which is another name for consumerism. Pestilence refers to contagious and epidemic diseases.

Verse 24 gives a very clear description of drought. " The LORD shall make the rain of thy land powder and dust: from heaven shall it come down upon thee, until thou be destroyed.” Drought and dried up crops have become a reality for too many farmers. I am not implying that all farmers have turned away from God.

This nation is not winning wars like we used to. This is expressed in verse 25, where it says " The LORD shall cause thee to be smitten before thine enemies: thou shalt go out one way against them and flee seven ways before them: and shalt be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.”

Terminal illness, madness, bewilderment of heart, and physical oppression are listed in verses 27-29. Depression and emotional illness are at an all time high in America today.

Let’s go down to verses 43-44 and read, " The stranger that is within thee shall get up above thee very high; and thou shalt come down very low. He shall lend to thee, and thou shalt not lend to him: he shall be the head, and thou shalt be the tail." China is an alien nation that is lending us money and buying up import business here.

There is a warning given in verses 49-50. " The LORD shall bring a nation against thee from far, from the end of the earth, as swift as the eagle flieth; a nation whose tongue thou shalt not understand; A nation of fierce countenance, which shall not regard the person of the old, nor shew favour to the young:" Doesn't this sound a lot like being overcome by Islam?

There are more diseases and chronic illnesses are mentioned in verse 59.

You may not agree with all of my implications, but I think you would agree that there is a lot of the same that went on with what America is experiencing today. God is lifting His hand of blessing off of this great nation and it is showing the signs. How can people continue to sing, "GOD BLESS AMERICA" when…innocent babies, who are the creations of God, are being aborted? Also, our culture is worshipping other gods of money, consumerism, music, movies, and technology such as AI. (Artificial intelligence (AI) is technology that enables computers and machines to simulate human learning, comprehension, problem solving, decision making, creativity and autonomy.”) Also the people in the United States are trying to take down the symbols of truth about how America became a nation of worshipping the one and only God, like the removing cross, removing the Ten Commandments, taking the right to pray in public, taking prayer out of schools, the Bible out of public places, and the name of Jesus not being allowed to be spoken in a public place outside of church? YES, the spiritual foundation that our nation's forefathers established is being ignored?

Thank God for His grace upon America, but how much longer will He be patient with this land and the people who live in it?
If you are studying the Bible, you will find that the Judgement of God is about to fall upon the world. Not just the United States of America, all the Western nations, but most severely onto those who commence their attack on Israel, as per Psalm 83 "Keep not thou silence, O God: hold not thy peace, and be not still, O God. 2 For, lo, thine enemies make a tumult: and they that hate thee have lifted up the head. 3 They have taken crafty counsel against thy peo
ple, and consulted against thy hidden ones. 4 They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; that the name of Israel may be no more in remembrance. 5 For they have consulted together with one consent: they are confederate against thee: 6 The tabernacles of Edom, and the Ishmaelites; of Moab, and the Hagarenes; 7 Gebal, and Ammon, and Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre; 8 Assur also is joined with them: they have holpen the children of Lot. Selah. 9 Do unto them as unto the Midianites; as to Sisera, as to Jabin, at the brook of Kison: 10 Which perished at Endor: they became as dung for the earth. 11 Make their nobles like Oreb, and like Zeeb: yea, all their princes as Zebah, and as Zalmunna: 12 Who said, Let us take to ourselves the houses of God in possession. 13 O my God, make them like a wheel; as the stubble before the wind. 14 As the fire burneth a wood, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire; 15 So persecute them with thy tempest, and make them afraid with thy storm. 16 Fill their faces with shame; that they may seek thy name, O LORD. 17 Let them be confounded and troubled for ever; yea, let them be put to shame, and perish: 18 That men may know that thou, whose name alone is JEHOVAH, art the most high over all the earth.”
