Do you ever wonder why God allows us to experience hardship?

We love knowing that our church family helped build this awesome new catio where residents can bring their cats to play!!

Introducing "The Catio" at the Pacific Building, for the guests' use to bring their cats outside and have a little off-leash outdoor time.

The Catio was planned & purchased by KARE (Kitsap Animal Rescue Education).

By the Book Construction loaned use of their truck, driven by author/speaker Lyle Skillman, who picked up the paver aggregate which was generously donated by Morrison Gravel.

Volunteers from KARE, Kitsap Rescue Mission, Sycamore Church, and Tessera were led by local veterinarian Ryan Reusch in site prep, laying the paver foundation, and assembly.

We are so thankful for collective impact projects that bring the community together to make the lives of the guests and their pets better during their stay at the Pacific Building.

The Lord is our Provider.

Last Sunday night at Sycamore Church, we looked at why it's so hard to trust God with our money. Because God has promised to provide for us, trusting Him with our money really isn't a risk!

We loved partnering with The Coffee Oasis for their Back-to-School Bash!!

Kiwanis donated 80 backpacks! Sycamore Church bought school supplies, filled the backpacks, and gave them out to teens in South Kitsap. We also painted MANY faces!! What a beautiful evening!

We hope these kids feel seen and valued as they begin another school year.

Why is it so hard to trust God with our money?

The Bible has a lot to say about trusting God with our finances, and this Sunday night at Sycamore Church, we are going to look at what happens when we grow in this faith!

We’ll be filling backpacks after potluck tonight and would love your help! We have 80 backpacks to fill with school supplies for at-risk teens in South Kitsap.

We’re also looking for help at Coffee O’s Back-To-School Bash this Friday—all you need is a warm smile & a heart to encourage teenagers! Our Sycamore booth will have free backpacks and face painting.
