Vision of Alive Church:
I see a church that is so hungry to see God move that we will allow no obstacle to stop us. A church that proves nothing is impossible when people are united (Genesis 11:6). A church not afraid of Holy Spirit, but who is dependent upon Him and welcomes Him to move in every service and daily through our lives. (John 14:11-12)

A church full of believers who properly steward

the gifts of Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:7-11)

A church whose alters are constantly full of people responding to Christ’s call to salvation. Where healings, miracles, and the casting out of demons are common. (Mark 16:17)

A church who invests in educating and preparing our children to be great men and women of God. (Proverbs 22:6)

A church who doesn't just say they know God, but proves it through their actions, willingness to serve, and passion to see the kingdom of God increase. (1 John 18:19)

A church that equips, encourages, and empowers people from every background to walk in the ways of the Lord. (Deuteronomy 5:33)

A church that loves all people and stands against anything that seeks to destroy life, love, and unity according to the standards of God. (John 13:35)

A church whose worship breaks down walls and brings God’s power to life. (Acts 16:25-26)

A church large in size but larger in impact, and completely focused on the cause of Christ. I see a church where Jesus is King, Holy Spirit is welcomed and whose focus is the Great Commission.

Dec. 7th marked the 50th anniversary of the church’s first service on this property several months after it had been birthed. It was wonderful to have the Georgia District Assemblies of God Superintendent John Dougherty and Secretary/Treasurer Jack Moon join us as we praised God for this amazing milestone. Thank you to all who came out to celebrate with us. As Mr. Superintendent John Dougherty shared in his message, God has great plans for Alive and we’re excited to see them come to fruition.

Alive Church appreciates EVERY member no matter how long they serve with us. Recently we were able to celebrate and pray over some pretty amazing people. Ed Knight has attended and served at this church for 40 years! What a testimony of faithfulness! Mark and Angelica Thompson have only been with us for 22 months, serving when they could as they balanced a military schedule and raising two young boys. Their time at Ft. Stewart is up and they have moved to their next duty station. We are grateful for every worker the Lord brings to help with the harvest.
