You can’t see me, right?

In Matthew 5:13–16, Jesus calls us to be the salt of the Earth and the light of the world. Our faith was never meant to be hidden, quiet, or compromised to make others comfortable. Salt is meant to change the flavor, and light is meant to shine.

If our faith makes no impact on the world around us, are we truly living out the calling God has placed on our lives?

Following Jesus means standing firm in our faith, speaking truth with love, and refusing to blend in when God has called us to stand out. We can’t keep our faith tucked away behind a “We can’t make a scene.” mentality. Our lives should point others to Christ, not because we seek attention, but because He deserves to be seen through us.

No more camouflage. No more compromising. It's time to let your light shine.

The devil will come and whisper lies about who you are.

And you can look him straight in the face and say, “You’re right. That’s who I USED TO BE.”

But now, I am more than a conqueror through Christ Jesus.

In the name of Jesus, get behind me, Satan!

Church, we have gotten too dignified.

All the tradition of Christianity has got to go if it keeps us sitting comfortably while darkness runs rampant. It’s time to roll up our sleeves, get into the trenches, call out the witches, the warlocks, and everything that stands against the will of God.

Because the sound of REVIVAL was never meant to stay inside the church building.

It is supposed to GO OUT.

It is the will of God and the presence of God that keeps us moving. His presence will be a wall of fire around you, and His glory will be within you.

So quit worrying and get into His presence.

Ease your mind.
Fall on your knees.
Pray instead of panicking.

HE will direct your path.

Look at the mountains to your right and your left. Look at the enemy behind you.

And WALK FORWARD.

Stand up in boldness.
Stand up in faith.
Move forward because you know GOD HAS IT.

He will part the Red Sea.

And when you step forward, the waves will come crashing down on everything that came against you.

In this next season, STEP FORWARD.

Thank you for 11 years of prayer, 11 years of biblical preaching, 11 years of pouring, and 11 years of faithfulness!

Mark 2

You have to bring to Jesus what you cannot fix.

They came to Jesus carrying a paralytic, a man carried by four men.

They could CARRY him, but they could not HEAL him.

And many of us are carrying what we cannot heal.

You may not be able to change the person. You may not be able to fix the situation. But you CAN take it to Jesus.

There are people and situations in your life counting on you to carry their corner.

Do you believe Jesus is a miracle worker?
Then somebody needs you to grab a corner and help carry them to Him.

But when those men got there, there was a crowd standing between them and Jesus.

Still, they pressed on.

DON’T LET WHAT’S IN THE WAY KEEP YOU AWAY.

There had to be at least one man who said, “We’re not leaving.”

And that’s all it takes.

There can be 100 churches in a city, but all it takes is ONE to catch fire.

WHO IS GOING TO BE THE ONE?! 🔥

They couldn’t use the doorway, but they REFUSED to let that be the end of the story.

How many come just short of their miracle, healing, or REVIVAL because they let the story end too soon?

They break down before the breakthrough.

How often do we allow DELAY to get in our way?

Delay can lead to discouragement.
Discouragement can lead to distance.

You KNOW God can do it, but you can’t understand why He hasn’t done it yet. And if you’re not careful, you stop talking to Him about it.

That is exactly what the enemy wants.

You don’t have to understand it.
You just have to TRUST HIM.

And don’t limit Jesus to the need you can see.

Jesus is a COMPLETE healer.

What sense would it make for Jesus to heal your body and leave what’s broken inside of you untouched?

We cannot limit God to the part of the picture we can see.

Then Jesus looks at the man who had been carried in and says:

“GET UP. TAKE YOUR MAT AND GO HOME.”

Jesus spoke, and the man got up.

JESUS HAS THE FINAL WORD OVER WHATEVER HAS HELD YOU DOWN. 🔥

Sometimes God will bring you OUT of where you are in order to MOVE.

Mark 8 is a restorative miracle.

Jesus takes the blind man by the hand and leads him outside of the village to restore him.

Then the man says,

“I see men like trees, walking.”

But notice this—

He knew what he was seeing.

He knew what men looked like.
He knew what trees looked like.

That means this wasn’t necessarily sight he had never had before.

Something was being RESTORED.

And what if, for a moment, Jesus opened more than his natural eyes?

What if He opened his SPIRITUAL sight?

“I see beings the size of trees walking around!”

It may surprise you that if you were able to look into the spiritual realm, you wouldn’t just see demons.

You would see HEAVENLY BEINGS.

There is more happening around us than what our natural eyes can see.

But Jesus pulled that sight back.

Why?

Because the man had just been restored, and he wasn’t ready to walk in that yet.

But if you’ll let Jesus take you by the hand and guide you a little, He will make you ready in due time.

Then Jesus tells the man not to go back into the village.

Sometimes even the people of God are not ready to receive what God has done in you yet.

Sometimes everybody around you is not ready for your restoration.

“Your faith has made you whole.”

So what if the place this man had been was FAITHLESS?

What if the atmosphere around him was connected to what he had lost?

Sometimes your SURROUNDINGS are keeping you from the miracle.

Sometimes God has to pull you OUT of an environment before He can restore what was lost.

Sometimes the miraculous requires OBEDIENCE.

Sometimes the miraculous requires FAITH.

And imagine if this man had not been willing.

Jesus took him by the hand—

but the man still had to GO.

He had to trust the One leading him before he could fully see where he was going.

What if he had refused?
What if he had stayed where he was?
What if he had chosen what was familiar over the hand of Jesus?

Sometimes the miracle is connected to your willingness to MOVE.

If Jesus is taking you by the hand, GO.

If He is pulling you out, GO.

If He is leading you somewhere you don’t fully understand yet, GO.

Sometimes restoration starts with obedience.

WHEN LIGHT WALKS IN, DARKNESS HAS NO CHOICE BUT TO LEAVE.

“In the beginning, God said, ‘Let there be light,’ and there was light.” — Genesis 1:3
From the very beginning, God made it clear: light and darkness were never meant to be the same. Light reveals. Light awakens. Light illuminates what darkness tries to hide.

And then Jesus looked at us and said, “You are the light of the world.” — Matthew 5:14

Not you might be.
Not you could be.
You are.

We have been called out of darkness and into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9). So we don’t hide our light. We don’t shrink it. We don’t wait for the world to become brighter before we shine.
We shine because He shines in us.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

Like the moon reflects the sun, we are called to reflect the Son. And when we carry the light of Jesus into our homes, our workplaces, our friendships, and our communities, darkness loses.

So shine.
Shine when it’s easy.
Shine when it’s uncomfortable.
Shine when no one is watching.

You are the light through Him.
And darkness will never overcome Him
