Sometimes the way forward isn’t comfortable—but that doesn’t mean it isn’t God’s way.

God makes the way before He ever calls you to walk it. We sing about it, but sometimes forget it when the road gets bumpy.

And quicksand isn’t quick. If you get comfortable waiting, you may spend your whole life waiting.

You don’t have to fight to prove what God has already produced in you. A tree doesn’t have to argue about its fruit—it simply bears it.

Honor all people. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the King.

Let God guide you. Let Him quicken you. And when He says move, move.

“Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on…” — Philippians 3:12

Freedom from your past means you don’t have to go back there.
Freedom from the enemy means you don’t have to listen to him.

Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bo***ge.

You’ve been made free.

Now walk in it.

WHAT IF THE THING THAT WOUNDED YOU ISN’T THE THING THAT STOPS YOU?

Jacob walked away from his encounter with God with a limp, but he kept walking.

He was wounded, but he wasn't defeated.

Sometimes we want God's blessing without the battle. We want the promise without the pain. We want healing without having to walk through the places that hurt.

But God can use the very things that wounded us to change the way we walk.

Fear will try to cripple you before the battle even begins. It will keep you focused on your past, your pain, your uncertainty, and every reason you think you can't move forward.

But fear doesn't get to name you.

Take off the labels.
You are not your past.
You are not your wounds.
You are not your fear.

God has a plan for you that is uniquely yours. You don't have to understand every step of the path to trust the One who already knows where it leads.

Caleb didn't receive the promise because the road was easy. He received it because he kept walking in faith.

There may be uncertainty ahead. There may be wounds you still carry. But by faith you know that Jesus is with you, and God is not done with you.

You may walk differently after what you've been through.

But keep walking.

Because sometimes the limp isn't proof that you lost the battle.

It's proof that you survived it.

DON’T GET COMFORTABLE WAITING.

John 5:1–10 shows us a man who had been waiting for a move of God for 38 years.

But somewhere along the way, waiting can become comfortable.

Fear can make us settle.
Disability can make us settle.
Disappointment can make us settle.

But your condition does not cancel Christ’s activity in your life.

Jesus told him, “Rise, take up your bed and walk.”

The question isn’t, “Am I able?”
The question is, “Do I trust Him enough to obey?”

Faith isn’t about ability.
Faith is obedience.

And when Jesus tells you to move, don’t let familiarity keep you at the pool.

You know better now.
Don’t go back.

Legalism looks for results.
Relationship produces obedience.

We don’t obey because we’re trying to earn His love.
We obey because we already have it.

Don’t miss your move of God because you got comfortable waiting for one.

GET UP. TAKE UP YOUR BED. WALK.
