Explore the Book of Job. This June, Deacon Mark invites you to sit with one of Scripture’s most honest and searching books. Every Sunday in June, from 9:00 to 10:00 AM in the Parish Hall, we’ll journey through the Book of Job together — exploring ancient questions about suffering, faith, and what it means to wrestle honestly with God.

Whether you’ve read Job before or are coming to it fresh, all are welcome. Come as you are, bring your questions, and prepare to be surprised by this remarkable text.

Looking for a church community that chooses love over division, and grace over judgment? 🕊️✨

This past Pentecost Sunday, our rector shared a powerful message about what it truly means to be a spirit-filled church. Rooted in the promise of Pentecost, the sermon reminded us that the Holy Spirit doesn't call us to a life of fear, exclusion, or rigid judgment. Instead, we are called to be a community of "living waters"—overflowing with life, hope, and deep mutual respect.

Here is a quick glimpse of who we strive to be at St. Francis:

A Place Where You Belong: We believe the Body of Christ is beautifully diverse. Whether you are a Republican or a Democrat, a lifelong evangelical or a progressive seeker, you have a seat at our table. We are united by one faith and one love.

A Community Grounded in Love: As our former Presiding Bishop Michael Curry beautifully said, "If it ain’t about love, it ain’t about Jesus." We focus on building deep relationships rather than weaponizing scripture or dividing people over moral stances.

A Family built on Grace: God doesn't need us to aggressively "defend" Him; He invites us to love one another. We are a parish where it’s okay not to have it all figured out, and where we gladly respect the dignity of every single human being.

No matter who you are, where you come from, or where you find yourself on your spiritual journey, the doors at St. Francis are wide open for you. Come experience a gospel of love, find refreshment in community, and let's seek the living waters together.

Join us this Sunday! We can’t wait to welcome you home. ❤️

Service Times:
Sundays at 8:00 AM & 10:15 AM

A Buck for Bolondron: Small Gifts, Massive Impact

Every year, a dedicated team from St. Francis journeys to Bolondron, Cuba, to visit our beloved sister church, San Pablo. This November, we are heading back to bring much-needed supplies directly to their congregation and the surrounding neighborhood.

Right now, the people of Bolondron face immense daily challenges with very limited access to the absolute basics: clean water, food, and medicine. Our annual trip is a vital, direct lifeline of support—but the partnership doesn't just happen once a year. It requires ongoing care.

👉 How you and your family can help this Sunday:

On the last Sunday of each month, we invite every member of your family to donate just $1 for A Buck for Bolondron.

It sounds simple, but when our entire parish family comes together, those single dollars stack up to provide critical necessities and steady support for a community that needs it most.

Let's show our companion church the power of a connected community. Bring your dollars this Sunday, and let's make a meaningful difference together!

On Sunday, we invite you to help us honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country — those lost in combat, those who served on home soil, and those whose service took a lasting toll that eventually claimed their lives. Look for the published list of names in our bulletin, holding each one in prayer and gratitude.

Join us for worship at 8 AM or 10:15 AM, and then stay for our parish-wide Pentecost Brunch immediately following our 10:15 AM service for some good food and fellowship. Please let us know if you are coming to the brunch. Look for the link in the first comment.

🇺🇸 Honoring Those Who Served: Memorial Day Remembrance
As we approach Memorial Day, we want to pause and honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our country—those lost in combat, those who served on home soil, and those whose service took a lasting toll that eventually claimed their lives.

On Pentecost Sunday, we will publish a dedicated list of names in our church bulletin, holding each one in prayer and gratitude.

If you have a loved one—a spouse, parent, child, sibling, or dear friend—who wore a uniform and is no longer with us, we want to say their name and honor their legacy.

We can't wait to share this meaningful Sunday with our parish family! See you there.

We are delighted to announce that Tara VanBennekom has accepted the call to serve as our new Minister of Music at St. Francis in-the-Field. Tara is a beloved member of this parish, where she has worshipped faithfully alongside her husband Jason, raised their son Alex, and their daughter Olivia. Music has shaped Tara from her earliest years, accompanying her through high school, sustaining her through college, and continuing to bless her even during the demanding seasons of medical school. Today, Tara also serves our wider community as a pediatrician, where her tender love for children is poured out daily through her vocation of care and healing. Be sure to welcome Tara this Sunday!
