Leading a team of 3 to 6 individuals with diverse backgrounds and perspectives requires remarkable leadership and compassion. It's a challenging yet rewarding role that tests their resolve, but it's clear that God is using this experience to foster growth and maturity in them. We kindly request that you join us in praying for these leaders as they strive to make a lasting, positive impact on the men God has placed under their care & guidance.

June 2026 Family Day:

Restoration in the works. Shattered & broken lives being redeemed. Men who were once hopeless are beginning to have hope again. This is what God does here and we are so incredibly grateful to witness it all firsthand.

Thank you to all of you who consistently pray for this ministry. Thank you to all of you who support the work that is being done here. Thank you to all of you who personally invest in the lives of these men. We couldn’t do this without you.

We just received this from a man who is entering Calvary House this afternoon. This is someone who has been battling for many years and has finally made a decision to surrender. Please keep him and his family in your prayers.

Dear Self,

Today, I am surrendering my will to the only One who can carry it. I am putting my hand back into the hand of Jesus. I tried to walk the path alone, but I am choosing to stop running from the love that has been chasing me all along.

I leave my shame at the cross outside those doors. Jesus already paid for it and I will be stepping inside covered by His mercy, holding tight to God’s promise that He will finish the good work He started in me.

This is my altar of renewal. I will listen for God's still, small voice in the quiet moments. I will let Jesus be my strength when my own runs dry. I will take this journey one prayer, one breath, and one day at a time.

God is not done with me. My relationship with Jesus is my anchor, and with Him, I am ready to rebuild. AMEN! 🙏

Each quarter at Calvary House we do a small group that focuses on what it means to be a servant leader. This is to help the men view leadership from a different lens as they continue cultivating their relationship with Jesus. It’s alway a fun and eye-opening experience. A highlight is that when we complete the 10-12 week study, one of the group leaders, Daniel B. Chan, MD, who also serves on our board here at Calvary Chapel Fort Lauderdale and a huge supporter of Calvary House, takes the men out for an awesome dinner to celebrate and fellowship. Last night the men went to Fogo de Chão in Fort Lauderdale. It was an awesome time. We are so proud of these men and how far they have come. They came into the program broken & shattered and now they are leading the newer men in the program. It’s an incredible thing to watch happen. Thank you Lord for you unrelenting grace & mercy.

Phase 1 completed ✅

We are incredibly proud of these men who just completed Phase 1. This phase is 90 days and they go through the Alpha curriculum. This is a big mile stone for this group. The first 90 days of getting sober in a structured program is not easy. For many of these guys this is the first time in years that they have been able to accomplish this. The toughest part of it is facing and feeling the weight of their past without running to something to escape reality, to make themselves “feel better”. They are learning what it means to trust & rely on Jesus and the community that He has surrounded them with. Please continue to pray for each of them as they enter Phase 2 and start counseling with their therapist.

We are so grateful for each and everyone of you who support Calvary House. We wouldn’t be able to offer what we do for free to these men without you. Thank you for the investment you have and continue to make. God is restoring and redeeming not just these men but the families that are attached to them.

Buenos dias From Tizimin, Mexico!!!

Thank you for all of you who have been thinking and praying for us. This trip has been incredible in so many ways. The work that has been and is being accomplished here is going to impact generations and generations for Jesus. We are beyond humbled that we get to be a part of it.
