Hildah always wanted a dependable way to provide for her four children. But with seasonal farming and occasional work, her family sometimes survived on just one meal a day, and school books and uniforms were often out of reach.

Through a sewing program supported by Cross International and led by our local partner, Hildah joined 19 other women to learn tailoring and business skills. Together, they sew school uniforms, dresses and other clothing, sharing the profits each month. With her earnings, Hildah now provides three meals a day, covers her children’s school expenses and saves for emergencies. She has even built a new home for her family.

“Today, I have a skill, a supportive group of women, and a stable source of income,” Hildah shares. Thank you for helping women like Hildah gain the tools and opportunities to provide for their families and plan for the future with confidence.

Ten years of golf. Ten years of generosity. And a purpose that reaches far beyond the course.

This year marked the 10th anniversary of the Cross International Golf Classic at Sebonack Golf Club, where golfers gathered around a shared commitment to serving children and families facing poverty. While the day was spent on the golf course, its impact will be felt thousands of miles away in Malawi, where funds raised through this year's tournament will help support children and families living in deep poverty.

We're deeply grateful to our generous hosts and every golfer who made this milestone year possible. Your continued generosity is a reminder of what can happen when people come together around a shared purpose.

“Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Matthew 25:40.

Jesus receives our care for people in need as care offered to Him. Those words give every act of mercy a sacred purpose.

Each person has God-given dignity. Each opportunity to help is an invitation to make our faith visible through our actions.

Claire wanted to keep her children in school and build a safer home for her family. But despite her hard work, her income wasn’t enough. Four of her children had to leave school because she couldn’t afford the fees.

Your generosity helped open a new path.

Through Cross International’s local partner in Uganda, Claire gained access to a savings group, financial training and spiritual encouragement. With that support, she built a coffee business that now helps her provide for her family.

Today, her school-age children are attending classes. Her daughter Irene is learning tailoring, and her son Martin brings the family together for evening prayer.

Now Claire is dreaming of expanding her business and helping other women find a way forward, too.
