Make sure to take advantage of this opportunity on Saturday, April 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Note that you must preregister. May God bless you and keep you healthy and safe.

Well today concludes our Lenten lunches that we have enjoyed for the past seven weeks. I cannot express how blessed I and others are to have shared in these holy moments of fellowship and worship with so many different churches in our community. What a wonderful experience to have so many believers love one another and serve together by raising funds for a worthwhile ministry.

The Mason County Ministerial Association is also very humbled that over the course of these seven weeks $3,030.00 were raised that goes towards showing the love of Jesus Christ to our neighbors when they need a hand from the church. The Ministerial Association could not help people or witness to them without the financial support of faithful churches and believers like you, so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

We would like to thank the following churches for their help by hosting a lunch each week and for the powerful messages delivered during worship:

1. Trinity
2. Beech Hill and Good Shepherd
3. Point Pleasant Presbyterian Church
4. Main Street Baptist Church
5. First Church of God
6. Bellemead
7. First Church of the Nazarene

Thank you also to everyone who attended. I always say that these lunches are a foretaste of the heavenly kingdom when the people of God gather in the name of Jesus Christ to worship and serve. I am already looking forward to next year and will miss these sacred moments together.

Until then have a very blessed Holy Week and Easter Sunday!

Has God been calling you to serve people in another capacity? If so there is a wonderful opportunity in our very own community. River's Health hospital is looking for chaplains to bring the comfort of Jesus Christ to those in great need. They have flexible hours and are willing to work with pastors to make a schedule that works for them. Some of the ways you can help are as follows:

- Bring a cart into hospital rooms as a means to serve and introduce yourself to patients

- Be on call for emergencies (usually happens 2-3 times a month)

- Join the 'No One Dies Alone' program and be present with those who have no one to be with them during their last moments

- Provide the occasional devotional for team leaders

- Help with memorial services of staff

If the Holy Spirit is leading you to serve in any of these capacities or something related to chaplaincy then reach out to Nora Gibbeaut who is the Director of Patient Experience and Volunteer Services:

The Ministerial Association offers Bibles to everyone we help. Most people take us up on that offer. The Gideons graciously supply us with a wealth of Bibles to give out and for that we are very grateful. However, sometimes people want a Bible that includes the Old Testament or a Bible that is large enough for them to easily read.

If you or your church have a surplus of Bibles just taking up space, please reach out to us because we could make good use of them as we set out to spread the gospel and the word of God. Thanks so much and God bless you!

The Mason County Ministerial Association would like to extend a tremendous thank you for everyone who reached out to help us during a very concerning time when our funds were nearly depleted.

We are truly humbled by the response that we received. Every time I opened up a letter and found a check, or was handed money, my heart was warmed and moved to the point that I had to fight back tears. The love that you have shown your neighbors is palpable and a light that continues to burn bright in our community.

As you know, times have been hard on folks but thanks to your generosity we have been able to help people in desperate times. We are not out of the woods yet, but thanks be to God we should be able to continue helping people for the time being.

Moving forward we ask for your continued prayers and support when you are able. Keep your eyes out for our fundraising events and help us spread the news. If your church is looking for ministries to support then please consider us for monthly or yearly love offerings. Though above all please continue to keep us and the people in our community in your heartfelt prayers.

With that the Mason County Ministerial Association would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas. And know that you have done wonders to help others have a Merry Christmas by your love and grace.

The Mason County Ministerial Association invites you to get some extra Jesus in your life by attending our 5th Sunday worship service on November 30 at 6:00 PM. When believers gather together for worship, it is a foretaste of the heavenly kingdom.

In addition to the blessedness of worship you will have an opportunity to help support the Ministerial Association in our mission to love our neighbors on behalf of Christians and churches in our community. Times have been hard for quite some time and they have only gotten harder. Many families are one overdue bill from having everything fall apart. That is where we step in on behalf of you and many other followers of Jesus Christ. Though because the need is so great we are in a precarious situation regarding our funds.

Though thanks be to God that some of you have already been loving your neighbors by making donations. During the 5th Sunday worship service everyone will have the opportunity to continue helping us be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ. With that we hope to see you there and please spread the word! God bless you.

We will get straight to the point. We need your help. The Mason County Ministerial Association has loved our neighbors on behalf of many churches for years. Every Monday we have people walk through our doors in desperate need of help. Sometimes people in our community have no where else to turn and they come to us - the body of Christ comprised of believers like you - so that they can keep the lights on or warm their house for their children and other such needs. Often when they leave they are so touched by the generosity of churches and the love of Jesus Christ that they weep.

Unfortunately due to the great need in our community our finances are at a point where we may have to stop helping people. We average $800-1,000 a week but may need to put a pause on our ministry very soon. That is why we need your help. The Mason County Ministerial Association is only able to be the hands and feet of Jesus Christ due to the generosity of churches and organizations who partner with us to build the kingdom of God.

People come to us for financial help but we also pray with people, give them Bibles, connect them to churches, and offer them spiritual counseling and friendship. If you or your church feels led by the Holy Spirit to help us make a difference for the kingdom then please consider donating to us with either a one time donation or monthly commitment.

Above all we ask for your prayers. We sincerely believe in the power of prayer and the Lord we serve. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your prayers and support and may God bless you richly.
