The best thing about the pastor not being the only one that controls the church page is that we can be silly and sneak every now and then with what’s “trending” and at the same time brag on him and how lucky we are to have him. There are “preachers” and there are “pastors”. God sent MSBC a PASTOR. We are thankful for and love you Pastor Jeff Fetty!

Greetings MSBC family,
After careful consideration, we will hold worship service tomorrow at 10:30 AM.

Please note: Main Street and 11th Street are still icy, and safe parking is not available. However, our sidewalks are pretty clear. We will provide valet parking for those who attend.

For anyone at risk of falling, we strongly encourage you to stay home and join us online.

There will be no Sunday School and no Communion tomorrow.

Grace and peace to you all.

Today is the holiday honoring the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. In 1964 the American Baptist Convention presented King with the Edwin T. Dahlberg Peace Award for his nonviolent leadership for racial justice and for his constructive efforts for peace with justice and freedom..
King spoke numerous times at conventions and conferences of the American Baptist Churches, USA. ABHS preserves recordings of several of these speeches, which are available for listening on the ABHS digital preservation website. https://abhs.access.preservica.com/archive
