Kate Malin, rector of the Church of the Heavenly Rest in New York City will be preaching and her daughter Murphy Taylor Smith will lead the music. The Rev. Hey Pleasantville and surrounding areas, one of our very own parishioners Kevin O'Brien will be playing in his band the Speakers at this years Pleasantville Music Festival!!

What makes this band special is that all six members have a disability ranging from Autism to Cerebral Palsy. We are so excited to support this band as they will be kicking off the music festival at 12:30 pm. Join St. John’s parishioners (including the rector) this weekend for the annual sunrise walk “into the light.” The organization honors Pleasantville’s own Brian T. Halloran who died by su***de in 2018. BTH provides resources and programming on mental wellness and su***de prevention. The walk helps fund their mission, while also being a powerful experience for those who participate. Link in bio to sign up. See you there!
