Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School, a ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church, is located at 4300 Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School opened in 1982.

Since then, it has educated more than 3,000 young children. In 2008, it achieved the prestigious accreditation of the NAEYC, the National Association of the Education of Young Children. 10. Our Day School has been open for 39 years and educated more than 3,000 children, ages 1-5!
9. We opened with six classes, using the church building and a portable building in 1982. In 1999, our Day School was overjoyed to move its program into the Christian Education Building.
8. Our school achieved accreditation from the National Accreditation of Education of Young Children (NAEYC) in 2008. This puts us in an elite group of less than 1% of preschools nationwide (and only a handful in Plano) who have achieved this status.
7. Church-member, Jane Toberman, has been employed as an assistant at GPCDS since its opening in 1982.
6. Our teachers have worked at the Day School for an average of ten years each. Many have worked here more than 15 years.

2. In 2004, under the direction of the Children’s Weekday Ministry and the Children’s Commission, the part-time program, known as the Learning Center and the full-time program, known as The Children’s Place, became one program and are now known as the Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School.
1. Devon Hosey, the Day School’s assistant director has been employed at GPCDS since 2007. Kami Connell, the director, has been employed at the Day School since 2004 and has been director of the school since 2018. This brings our director and assistant director’s experience to a total of 31 years at our Grace Presbyterian Christian Day School!
