Good Thursday morning friends. In our Sunday morning Bible class we are going to review this chapter. Remember the wwjd craze? It was everywhere. It faded. Living like Jesus takes work and commitment. It's more than a t-shirt or a bracelet. It's a dedicated everyday even when you don't necessarily feel it. It's a decision we solidly made at an altar of prayer. Jesus becomes our everything. Life is better with him friends. Value the relationship. Remember where you were when you decided to follow him. In everything we do forward let's live the life that pleases Him. Blessings.

Good Wednesday morning friends. As we have talked about John's writings we discovered he was a relationship type of guy. If you read the previous verses Jesus talks about he is the vine and we are the branches. We as the branches bear fruit. That fruit is love. In Galatians love is the first fruit of the spirit. I liked the speaker in my devotional today God's love is so huge ours could be compared to a coffee mug. He went on to say it shouldn't be but instead a funnel for God's love to flow through us. So today let's be the channel (the funnel) his love flows through in our families, our work, our churches and communities. Blessings.

Good Tuesday morning friends. This verse is my favorite verse. I discovered it many years ago. Anyone who came in my office saw it on the wall. Every day I would pray that I would follow it. Seek justice I was an advocate for the children of Ga. Love mercy there were times when I would encounter someone who needed mercy instead of lowering the hammer down. Walk humbly with my God having him lead me to do, to pray, to love. They're all interconnected. If you read the verses before it Micah stated if he gave things sacrifices, what more could he do? God said in this verse this was what the he required, justice, mercy, humility. Everything else would fall into place. So friends today let's follow the example. Blessings.

Good Monday morning. I pray you had a great weekend with sweet fellowship. Today's verse hits home. Jesus loved us with a deep love. He willingly laid down his life for sinful mankind. Love deeply what does that mean today. It more than "goosebumps." It's not the bride and groom. Sure it's a great beginning but it's more it's sitting up nights with a sick spouse, going to work when you've been up all night or sick yourself cause the bills are due. Deep love is laying aside selfish motives, loving when it's not reciprocated. Let's love like Jesus loved. Blessings.

Good Friday morning friends. This verse is often quoted at weddings. Oh, for us to love and live like this. The Corinthian church would have been a nightmare to pastor! They just didn't get it. It was full of me and mine philosophy (I want what I want). This carried over to relationships within the church and with their relationship to God. Sadly we can fall into that trap. How's our relationship with the ones we love, go to church with and those we come in contact day to day? Jesus was pure love. Let's remember today love like Jesus loved. Have a great weekend. Good Thursday morning friends. James was Jesus's earthly brother and was a leader in the early church. We look to this verse as much needed today. Lord gives us all more wisdom. God, have us stop, pray and ask you for wisdom in the situations we encounter. We'll all be better off. Less stress, less hurt feelings, less delays in what God has planned for us if we just ask for wisdom. I like what Solomon said in Proverbs "Get wisdom and with all thy getting get understanding." Doesn't the world need that today! Blessings.

Good Wednesday morning friends. Midweek and millions of people waiting for the weekend. Who likes to wait? With instant everything it seems harder. My mind goes to King David who had to wait to be king, Joseph, waiting in a prison cell waiting for his dreams to be fulfilled. When you know God is in the midst of the waiting time you can trust he still loves us enough to build character. A child who has never been made to wait grows to an adult who knows no self control. In our waiting time God is building our character and has our attention so he can speak to us. What waiting room are you in today? Friends God is with you today one glorious day he will open that door and your wait will be over. Trust him in the process. Blessings.
