🎉 VBS Starts Tomorrow! 🎉

Haven’t registered your child yet? No worries! 😊 You can register online or arrive a little early and register before VBS begins. We’ll have volunteers ready to help make the process quick and easy! VBS will be from 6:00 - 8:30 pm each evening!

🍕 VBS Volunteers: Don’t forget our mandatory volunteer meeting tonight at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll be serving pizza, salad, and dessert, and we need everyone there as we make final preparations for an amazing week!

Pre-registration is now closed; however, you can still register in person at the church beginning at 5:30pm!

We can’t wait to see what God does through VBS this year! 💙🙌

🌿🐒🌴 WOW! Our church has been transformed for VBS and it is literally a RAINFOREST! The decorations are incredible, and we can't wait to see what God does through this exciting week of ministry. VBS begins tomorrow from 6:00 - 8:30 pm each evening!

📢 VBS Volunteers: Don't forget our Volunteer Meeting tonight at 5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall. Pizza, salad, and dessert will be served as we prepare together for a great week!

This morning's message from Matthew 16 reminded us of some important points:

1. Jesus tells his disciples not to tell anyone he is the Messiah
2. Jesus tells Peter that he is aligning himself with Satan
3. Jesus tells Peter the Rock that he's a stumbling block.
4. Jesus tells us to focus on God's purposes not human perspectives

One of the most encouraging reminders from today's message was this:

"Even though we can't trace God's hand, we can always trust God's heart."

May we keep our eyes fixed on God's purposes this week as we serve, worship, and prepare for VBS together!

🎨✨ Thank you to everyone who volunteered to help decorate for VBS! ❤️

Our decorating is almost complete, so we will not need the decorating volunteer times that were scheduled for tonight or tomorrow. 🎉

Last night, our church voted unanimously to move forward with the first phase of our building project. This phase focuses on our nursery and children's Sunday school areas and represents an investment that will bless our children and future generations for years to come.

We were blessed to witness a baptism, hear a fun VBS song from Carmen Andrea, and worship together during Family Worship Sunday as the children stayed with us throughout the service.

The message was from Matthew 16:13-18, "Christ the Solid Rock," and focused on these sermon points:

Jesus says faith is relational & it must be personal.
Jesus says this truth has been revealed to him from above.
The church will be built on the solid rock of Jesus Christ.

The message concluded with two important questions for each of us to consider:

Who do you say Jesus is?

Who does He say you are?

May we continue to seek Him, know Him personally, and build our lives upon the solid rock, Jesus Christ.
