Good morning! I hope everyone has a blessed day! Barring any unforeseen issues, we will have in person services at 11am tomorrow! I can't wait to get back to church and to all of you! I am not 100% yet, but it is time to work on getting back to normal! We will see everyone in the morning!! Thanks for all the prayers and support!

Good morning everyone! Well, I am out of the hospital and working on recovery, but it isn't nearly as fast as I would like! I am not good at resting! God made the decision fo me! On that note, we will cancel in person service this Sunday! However, I do believe I am well enough for Facebook, so we will have a full Facebook live service at 11am Sunday! Please join us! It is my hope that this will be the last cancellation and we will be back in person next Sunday! I'll also be posting upcoming Easter events dates and we would love to have everyone join us for those! We do our main events on Palm Sunday so that if you have another church event, family even etc. On Easter Sunday, you can still join us!

Thank you for all the wonderful prayers! Please continue to pray for patience and recovery at God's speed!

Well, this year has been a challenge already. While I was hoping for the best, I wanted to make you aware that I am once again in the hospital. This time, it was not what I ate but I have a severe UTI with possible kidney stones and borderline sepsis. They have been giving me powerful antibiotics and are working on getting my white blood counts down. I am not sure when I will be released from the hospital. My hope is I will be home on Monday at the latest!

Unfortunately I am going to have to cancel in person service this Sunday, February 22nd and will not do a FaceBook live service. Once I get home, I will post a devotional for the week!

Please pray it's a very small stone! 

Please pray for Karen on Wednesday for positive news and safe travels!

We had an amazing Service yesterday! Thanks so much for the gift and appreciation my family received! It has been an amazing 4 years and we look forward to many more! Thanks to Karen, Rick, Wyatt, Colleen and Jim for providing food and drinks for the luncheon! Thanks to everyone for joining us in the celebration amd allowing me and my family to he a part of such a wonderful church family! We are so blessed!

Having the honor of dedicating my sweet granddaughter Leila to a life in Christ was beyond a blessing! Thanks to my wonderful wife Phyllis and my children for their support and all that they do! I am so thankful every day for all the blessings God has bestowed on us! May all of you be so blessed on your lives!

Good day and God Bless! Once again I have to do my least favorite thing! Based on the snow, more the ice, the temperature drop and the wind, it looks like it will not be safe to get out in the morning! Even though we aren’t getting that much snow, everything that falls will turn to ice and we are expected to get 30-40 mile per hour wind gusts. The temperature in the morning will feel like near and below 0. Based on this information, we will not have in- person services tomorrow morning. We will have a full service on Facebook live at 11am. I will do the sermon I had planned for next week in the morning. We will move our anniversary celebration and Leila’s Dedication ceremony to next week. Karen, Rick and Colleen are also providing lunch after the service next week. Please join us for that celebration. Also, please join us in the morning at 11am on Facebook live for a complete service you can enjoy from the warmth and comfort of your home! The Lord obviously is having some fun with our weather this winter, so enjoy our unique Georgia Weather!

Good morning and God Bless! I hope everyone has an amazing and safe weekend! I've watched all the news I can and I can honestly say I'm still not sure we are going to get much ice, but then again we may! Only God knows for sure because the weather people have no clue! So, saying that, I am going to do my least favorite thing and cancel in person service in the morning! Even if we don't get much, there will be icy patches and possible downed power lines and I do not want to put anyone at risk. I will go live on Facebook with full services beginning at 11am and you can enjoy from the safety and warmth of your home! Please join us on Facebook Live for the service or watch it at your convenience later on in the day! If you have any prayer requests you'd like to add please feel free to send those to me!

Also, I will make this announcement tomorrow, but I wanted to add it here. Next weekend, please join us as Phyllis and I celebrate our 4th anniversary here as the pastor of Plainville Independent Methodist Church! I'll look back as always at God’s amazing plan that brought us here! As part of this celebration, we will also hold the rescheduled dedication ceremony we had to postpone at Christmas for our wonderful granddaughter Leila Reece Koenigsmann! I believe that combining these events is the perfect way to celebrate how much God blesses us in our lives and makes the impossible possible! We would love to see you all there next Sunday, February 1, 2026

If you are coming from Rome on 53, take the first left after crossing Highway 140. Then go the end of the road. It's a small town, turn right at the stop sign and go about 1/2 mile.
