Memorial Day reminds us that freedom is never free.

Today we pause to honor the men and women who gave their lives in service to our nation. They did not merely wear a uniform; they carried a burden. They stood between danger and home, between evil and innocence, between tyranny and liberty.

As Christians, we understand sacrifice because our faith is built upon the greatest act of love ever shown:

“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” — John 15:13 KJV

This Memorial Day, let us remember with gratitude, pray with humility, and live with purpose. The best way to honor those who gave their lives is to stop wasting the freedom they protected.

May we be a people of courage, faith, duty, and love.
