Over the course of one weekend, through dance, instrumental, and vocal performances, 43 Urban Impact students beautifully illustrated how God is present during every season of life. In summer, fall, winter, and spring, God is right there with us. His love is constant. His love never fails. His love is steadfast.

We thank God for the powerful message UI Live: Steadfast spoke into the hearts of nearly 900 people this summer. It was a blessing to bring our annual summer show back to the North Side. We loved watching our students live out their gifts, including our Construction Trades students who built the entire set. All glory to God!

School is now in session, but our hearts are still full of God’s incredible blessings this summer. At every cookout, in every prayer huddle, and on every stage, thousands of lives were touched by the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you to everyone who faithfully stewarded their time, talent, and treasure to make a difference in the lives of those we serve. Look what God has done!

Come & see what God is doing on the North Side!

This fall, we are offering a unique opportunity for you to experience firsthand the ins and outs of our ministry. Over the next few months, we are offering 20 different tours for you to choose from. Each visit will include a tour of Urban Impact’s facilities, a chance to step into our programs and see our students in action, and a meal with members of our team.

More than anything, we want the chance to thank you personally, share what God is doing through Urban Impact, and show you how your faithful partnership is helping create a lasting impact in the lives of young people in our community.

The Options Department is cooking up something good!

On September 10th all high school juniors and seniors are invited to First Step Fiesta for a night full of tacos and a chance to take one small step toward a promising future. Planning for life after graduation can feel stressful, but it doesn’t have to be!

If you’re a parent/guardian, mentor, pastor, or anyone in between, we encourage you to bring your student(s) and stay for the fun! At this event students will participate in a career fair, enjoy a delicious taco bar, get free professional headshots, win epic raffle prizes, and more.

Are you called in the ministry as a pastor, preacher, or evangelist, have a passion for sports, and desire to reach the youth of the North Side with the gospel of Jesus? If so, we’re hiring for a UIF Director of Athletics Missionary.

This role consists of leading a dynamic team dedicated to ministry through sports, developing strategic plans for the department, equipping program leaders to become disciple makers, and more. This is a missionary support-raised position.

We’ll start off with a delicious meal at 5:45pm before heading into our trainings where you’ll learn straight from our missionaries how to make disciples who make disciples.

It’s always a blessing to see the younger generation share their gifts to make an impact on our students’ lives. We had the privilege of welcoming Pitt football players to our Athletics Football Clinic to run offensive line and touchdown drills with Summer Day Camp students. They also held a Q&A session where they shared their experiences as student athletes. Special thank you to Allegheny Center Alliance Church for providing the space for us to host the event. As the end of August quickly approaches, we want to wish all the players good luck heading back to school for the new semester. Thank you for teaching our students new skills and showing them the joys of playing a sport.

Race weekend isn’t until May, but signing up early helps us save on program fees so more support can go towards serving North Side families and youth!
