On Sunday, Pastor Josh continued our study through Acts, preaching from Acts 20:1–12. We saw Paul faithfully preach and encourage the believers even after a young man fell from a window and was miraculously brought back to life.

This passage calls us to be alert to God’s Word and to encourage one another toward greater faithfulness and obedience. After all, the Gospel is worth our alertness and attention, for through Christ’s death and resurrection, we have the greatest hope: forgiveness of our sins, restored relationship with God, and eternal life.

Our church partners with other baptist churches in our area to strengthen local churches, minister to our community, and strengthen relationships with other churches. This partnership forms the Big Sandy Baptist Network.
This year the annual meeting will look different as it will be modeled like a missions fair. In the exhibit hall you can explore mission projects that local churches and the Network as a whole are apart of.
The meeting will be at Creekside Church on September 20th at 4PM. We hope to see you there!

"Jesus is better. Jesus is greater."
Pastor Josh walked through Acts 19:21-41 a few days ago and challenged us to attack the idols in our lives and therefore take radical steps to fight sin. Be encouraged that when you flee from sin and worthless idols, God is honored and the spaces you are in will be changed.

Grace is part of the Big Sandy Baptist Network. Formerly known as the Pike Association of Southern Baptists, the name was changed recently as churches outside of Pike County choosing to become part of our network. The annual meeting is changing significantly this year in order to create greater engagement and excitement. It will now have the tone of a missions conference and I believe it will be greatly encouraging to you. Please consider attending to hear about the great work our network is doing.
