Sermon Recap ⏪ John 8:21–30

This Sunday, we were reminded that there’s a difference between knowing about Jesus and truly placing our trust in Him. Nothing but faith in Jesus and His finished work on the cross can save us.

As Pastor Lucas reminded us, “You can turn any good thing into a God thing.” We all worship something, and what we give our time, affection, and trust to reveals what we truly value.

So, what is competing for your heart? Is Jesus truly the One you trust and worship?

Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.” - John 8:12

Such good encouragement from John 8 today as we were reminded that light and life are found in Jesus, no matter the darkness around us.
