We loved celebrating Mother’s Day together this Sunday as we continued through our series in the Gospel of John. 💐

Pastor Lucas challenged us with a powerful question: When following Jesus costs you something, is He still enough?

We reflected on the moment many followers turned away when Jesus’ teachings became difficult, and what it means to truly trust Him even when faith feels costly.

We also thanked God for the mothers and mother figures in our lives, while praying for those whose Mother’s Day may carry grief, longing, or bittersweet emotions.

This Sunday we walked through John 6:22-35 and learned how Jesus is the Bread of Life. After miraculously feeding thousands just prior, Jesus went away and crowds were looking for him. Here, he taught them *and us* that true faith is not focusing on what Jesus can give us or do for us, but believing in the One the Father has sent.
